Beginning with a brief description of what glass fusing is, the types of glass in the studio, tools you will be using and design options available to you. Health and Safety in the studio will be covered. After a demonstration of how to safely cut the glass you will start to make your own fused glass artwork, this could any combination such as pendants or earrings, or a small picture, a coaster, or small dish. There's a large selection of coloured glass, stringers, confetti, frit and millefiore to choose from. You can work at your own pace with lots of one to one tutoring available throughout the session. Once you've finished your work, it'll be fired in a kiln for you. Your teacher Teresa will let you know when your item is ready to collect, or you can arrange to have your piece posted to you at additional cost.
