Really enjoyable day. Clear concise instruction, help when needed but never intrusive. I got so much done in the time and immediately booked a second day (which was just as enjoyable). Very happy with the results and would highly recommend it to anyone of any artistic level.

Got bought a gift voucher to go on the one day fused glass course and I loved it! All the equipment was organised and available, Martin was patient and knowledgeable and created a relaxed atmosphere to get creative right from the start. Would recommend to anyone!

I attended Martins fused glass course with my mum, we both really enjoyed ourselves and can not wait to see the finished pieces once they have been fired.
Martin is an excellent glass worker and teacher. We have both learned new skills on this course.
I would highly recommend the course, I know I will be attending other glass courses run by Martin.

Exactly as advertised A fun day providing an introduction to the techniques involved in the creation of fused glass pieces. Martin is an excellent teacher and also makes a good cup of tea!! I look forward to seeing the coasters, bowl and sun catcher in due course.

My first experience of working with such a variety of fused glass materials. A well formulated course, no pressures, excellent tuition and so interesting. After doing stained glass in Martins’s excellent courses previously, I was amazed at the results over a one day course. So many different materials. I can’t wait to see the fired results. Would thoroughly recommend this Day course, no previous experience necessary.

I attended an introduction to fused glass workshop run by Martin. Not having attended a workshop before I was a bit unsure of what to expect but I needn't have worried. The workshop is held in a beautiful location and the facilities in the room were fantastic. Each person has an individual work-bench with all the tools required in the glass fusing process so no having to share and wait for people to finish. Martin has a huge amount of experience in working with glass and was an excellent tutor - clear instructions and on hand to help. There was no pressure to complete a certain amount so everyone could go at their own pace. Overall I absolutely loved it and will definitely be booking another workshop.

A really great day. Bought this for my Mum's birthday and we both thoroughly enjoyed the day. No prior knowledge or skills needed. We made a number of fused glass pieces - suncatchers, coasters and a bowl. I use the coasters everyday and I still think they look fab!

Really good course conducted in a friendly and encouraging environment. There are plenty of books and examples of completed projects available for inspiration. All materials and tools are provided in a designated workshop with plenty of adjacent parking. Refreshments and toilet facilities available next door throughout the day in a nice clean cafe and drinks available in the workshop.
Course started with instruction on how to cut glass shapes and layer pieces to make a sun catcher, then progresses to cutting and encapsulating foil and paper designs,, using glass powders and glass shapes to make coasters and a bowl.
Martin is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and patient teacher who encourages participants to develop their own creative ideas. By the end of the class everyone had produced several pieces with an amazing variety of styles and techniques. We all enjoyed the course and were left wanting more. Highly recommended.

Fantastic course - such fun, thoroughly recommend it to others!!!
Martin is so knowledgeable, and the course was well resourced and structured to introduce us to many different techniques you can use in fused glass artwork - each new skill building on the previous one. It was challenging and satisfying all rolled into one
We all came away with multiple glass sun catchers, glass coasters, encapsulated fused glass and a glass bowl which was great value for money.
Thank you Martin - we are all now addicted!

Attended this course with my husband hoping to get him to explore and get involved in my love of all glass crafts and especially the art of fusing glass. My objectives were met. We both thoroughly enjoyed the day, learned a lot and had fun doing so. The only downside was that the day flew. Well done Martin for presenting this opportunity and creating a brilliant course. The atmosphere was relaxed and we came away very happy. The pieces we made all turned out well. We are using the coasters already.
