"Had a great day with Robert and a small group learning the techniques to make a spoon. Robert was really good at explaining the skills and sharing his knowledge. It was very satisfying to be able to start with a fresh piece of wood in the morning and by the end of the day have my own spoon. Would highly recommend to anyone who is interested, a great day."

Gary Izatt & Jayne Mayors reviewed: One day fused glass course at North Norfolk Stained Glass

"This is our third couse with Paul and as usual his manner, style and patience is excellent and his ability to ensure everything is clear and precise makes the whole experience enjoyable. I wish there were further glass fusion courses covering Slumping and how to use the kiln and explaining firing programme scheduling."

Caroline Smith reviewed: Slate mosaic workshop at Jo Garden Art

"I had such a good day. I arrived slightly frazzled after a drive that had taken much longer than expected, but the warm welcome and a cup of tea from Jo quickly settled me. There are plenty of examples of her slate mosaic in the house for inspiration but in fact, I found that the materials themselves were inspiration enough. A wonderful selection of pieces of slate and an Aladdin’s cave of bits and pieces to insert in the gaps between the slate. Jo had prepared two backing boards for us and showed us how to attach the fixings and mix the adhesive. Then we were off. She gave advice where required and plenty of encouragement. And beautiful pieces of work emerged, we each had our own style and colour choices and every one was lovely. I wasn’t too sure whether I was going to like my second one but with a little guidance from Jo it’s just as successful as the first. I’m pretty sure I will be back, maybe for a large piece next time. Thank you so much Jo."

Steph reviewed: Upholstery/cushion making

"The upholstery course was fantastic! I brought a small footstool as a project to complete while being instructed by Jo. It was immensely enjoyable to see something get restored that had been gathering dust in my attic for years, and knowing that I did it myself was a really rewarding experience. I am not a very crafty person but I still managed it all thanks to Jo's instruction. She is very patient and explained each step very clearly. I'd definitely recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn a new skill."

Nicky reviewed: Stained Glass course

" We had an amazing day learning about how to safely use the tools and Keith shared his extensive knowledge about stained glass. I thought my idea about what to make was ambitious, but no need to worry as Keith guided me through. My friend got her inspiration on what to make from looking at pieces in the studio. If you are thinking about booking a course, you don't need any artistic skills, just a passion to try something new. We are both feeling proud of what we'd achieved. Thanks Keith for your patience and sharing your skills "

" Thanks Nikki, great review thank you we hade fun😀"
