Anna Bates reviewed: Glass Bauble blowing experience with Chris

"Family of 4, children age 17 & 11 We all thoroughly enjoyed our bauble blowing experience. Chris demonstrated and explained the process, then we each made own baubles with help and assistance where needed. We're all thrilled with our beautiful baubles which we were able to bring home after our session. I would thoroughly recommend this as a Christmas outing and will definitely consider booking again next year. Thank you Chris and Grace "

David and Debbie Johnstone reviewed: Mosaic and Glass Art 2-day Course

"Debbie and I have just got back from this fascinating, enjoyable beginners’ course in creating our own special mosaics, using cut glass, wee ceramic what-nots and carefully snipped bone china and setting it all onto old roof slates! Never done anything like it before and we came home with two lovely, unique creations. Maggie guided us through safety, practices and use of several tools and the wee edge grinding machine. She taught us cutting techniques and grouting, but encouraging our imagination to become transformed into our own mosaic pieces of a herb garden and a fruit tree. Amazing, loved it. "

Pretty Rubbish Mosaics responded:

"Thank you David and Debbie for your lovely review. You were both great to work with. I really hope you will both carry on with this hobby, as I think you will enjoy filling your garden with lovely pieces . xx"

I was exceptionally nervous but his calm manner and professional approach to explaining helped me to have a thoroughly enjoyable day. His small, but well equipped, workshop means that you get plenty of supervision and help if you need it. I was amazed at what he helped me to achieve in 1 day. Relaxing over a delicious lunch was a lovely touch too. Thank you for a super day, to celebrate my birthday."
