Intermediate Weaving Workshop - Dobby & Rose
I loved this course ! Rebecca is a calm and competent tutor who clearly explained each step of the processes before setting us to work. I had tried a bit of weaving in the past, learning from books, but it quickly became clear that a real-life teacher is a MUCH more effective way of learning. Rebecca's studio is in a...

Blacksmithing and Metal Craft
Spent the day with Nigel on the 19th May. Excellent day. Nigel has so many stories and information. He clearly loves his craft. Thoroughly recommend this course to anyone who's never picked up a hammer. Nigel manages to put you at ease with all the tools and machinery small and large! Will definately be back for another day

We attended the spinning course on 24th May at Blaze Farm. We both enjoyed it immensely and have come away fired with enthusiasm for this wonderful craft . Diane is an excellent teacher and had us all spinning away pretty early on in the day. Her quiet manner and encouragement was just right and even though our efforts were a...

Absolutely amazing day! Jamal was patient and very helpful. Made an amazing window piece myself that I’m proud to call my own and display and show off to anyone that wants to look and also people that don’t. HIGHLY recommend great value and great experience with a master craftsman.

Needle felt a scene or picture
We enjoyed a tranquil, relaxed afternoon needle felting a scene that is already framed and up on my wall, pride of place. The whole package for such a fair price is amazing and would encourage anyone to give this craft or the others on offer a try, as i for sure will be going back and doing more. thank you.

Fused Glass for All
Me and my boyfriend went for a day course in fused glass at the beginning of May. Karen was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was easy enough to find and Karen kept in contact before to make sure we knew where we were going. We’ve never done anything like this before, Karen was extremely knowledgable and...

Jewellery Making with Lucy Copleston in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd
I was so lucky with the weather for my first visit in May, enjoying lunch and tea breaks in Lucy’s picturescque garden. The irises were in bloom and I sat under the spectacular scented wisteria, looking out towards the Clwydian hills: very relaxing. Throughout the day, I absorbed numerous hints and tips (as usual); this time, about different ways of...

Nuno Scarf
My friend and I spent a blissful day in Emma's studio each making a scarf using the Nuno felting technique. Emma is a warm and welcoming tutor who explains each step very clearly and provides hands on help and advice at all stages. I would strongly recommend this course.
