The software will save a cookie to your computer’s hard drive in order to track and monitor your engagement and usage of the website, but will not store, save or collect personal information. You can read Google's privacy policy here for further information.

Other cookies may be stored to your computer’s hard drive by external vendors when this website uses referral programs, sponsored links (such as on Google, where paid-for listings are marked by an “Ad”) or other advertising. External links

Although this website only looks to include quality, safe and relevant external links, users are advised to adopt a policy of caution before clicking any external web links mentioned throughout this website.

This website and its owners do not commonly ask and cannot guarantee or verify the contents of any externally linked website despite their best efforts. Users should therefore note they click on external links at their own risk and this website and its owners cannot be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any external links.

Adverts

This website may contain adverts for craft suppliers and creative tutors. Clicking on any such adverts will send you to the tutor or advertiser’s website. We do not send any additional information from our system with the redirect.

Payments

Some details are shared with our payment integrations when purchasing courses, products, gift vouchers or subscriptions or when claiming payment from us for a booking or order. Payment details are transferred securely (encrypted within PayPal, Stripe, Braintree & Wise) and not stored on our systems.

Social media platforms

Communication, engagement and actions on external social media platforms that this website and its owners participate on are subject to the terms and conditions and the privacy policies of each social media platform respectively. This website nor its owners commonly ask for personal or sensitive information through social media platforms; if you wish to discuss sensitive details, contact us by telephone or email.

Craft Courses Ltd may use social sharing buttons which share content directly from our web pages to a social media platform. You use such social sharing buttons at your own discretion; note that the social media platform may track and save your request to share a web page through your social media platform account.

Text messages/SMS

We use SMS (text messages) to notify students and tutors of new messages, bookings, and courses and payment request reminders. The SMS messages are there as a 'back up' to our email notifications and ensure smooth communications between our craftspeople, artisans and makers. Occasionally we may also send a text about an upcoming event, special offer or promotion (e.g. Father's Day or Christmas gift vouchers). These texts will always have an 'opt-out' e.g. "Text STOP to XXXXX" and this will ensure your number is removed from our list.

Shortened links in social media

This website and its owners, through their social media platform accounts, may share web links to relevant web pages. By default, some social media platforms shorten lengthy web addresses (‘URLs’). This is an example: http:// bit.ly/2u159OK.

You are advised to take caution and good judgement before clicking any shortened URLs published on social media platforms by www.craftcourses.com. Despite the best efforts to ensure only genuine URLs are published many social media platforms are prone to spam and hacking and therefore this website and its owners cannot be held liable for any damages or implications caused by visiting any shortened links.

Please note

CraftCourses reserves the right to change this policy from time to time without reference to customers or notice.
