Crafts in the Valley - Festive Winter Workshops
The Winter Lantern Workshop can be as Christmassy or as non-Christmassy as you like!
These workshops run on set days in the morning (9.30am - 12.30 pm) or the afternoon (2pm - 5pm). You may be tempted to stay all day, and take part in one of my other Fused Glass classes too! You can make the Christmas Collection or the Festive Fused Glass Collection, see my other listing for details. These workshops are all available as private "bubble" workshops for groups of 2-5.
In this workshop you will decorate the four glass panel of a lantern.
Firstly you will learn how to cut shapes out of glass to add decoration to your lovely lantern. You will also be introduced to a range of top quality fused glass materials and interesting techniques that can be used to decorate the panels of your lantern. Designs, colour and patterns can be added to the glass panels using frit powders and stencils. Extra decoration and embellishment can be added with jewels, glass beads, stringers and cut glass shapes.
Your glass work will be fired and ready to collect 1-2 weeks later. if you are unable to collect your lantern packaging and postage costs £15.
Crafts in the Valley has created a safe space to work in with a number of Covid 19 precautions in place. More information will be provided when you book. Class sizes are limited to 4 people. Private booking sizes vary depending on the groups social distancing requirements.

You'll leave Crafts in the Valley feeling inspired and a little bit spoilt. We call it Creative Escapism!
