I recently did a one day fused glass for beginners and it was a brilliant experience. There were 4 of us on the course and we had an introductory talk and then on to the practical part of the day. Jen was a fantastic teacher, sharing her wisdom and experience yet allowing us to be creative. I was apprehensive beforehand being a complete beginner but Jen has an easy going manner which put everyone at ease. I was delighted with the whole day and would thoroughly recommend it.

The best creative course I have ever been on. It was well structured , inspiring and totally absorbing. I have never learned so much in such a short space of time. Jenny is an excellent teacher with a well deserved reputation for being the best glass fusing teacher in North England.

This course is brilliant. I had the most incredible day. I thought we were going to make pretty coasters and little wall hangings! How wrong could I be! Jenny is an excellent teacher. She taught all of us so much in one day and we made big works of art! Three in total. When we finished , myself and the other delegates were a bit dazed and amazed at what we had achieved and learnt in one day. We all loved every minute. I would recommend this course to everyone who likes to immerse themselves in creativity and absorb all the exciting things Jenny has to offer in her beautiful studio.

A fabulous day with a highly skilled and technically brilliant teacher. Jenny is really generous and patient. A lovely warm welcoming atmosphere. I didn't want to leave at the end of the day! I came home with my head bursting with ideas. The only problem is, you want to go back and do more. Going to Jenny's studio is so relaxing and creative. Anyone creative would really enjoy this course. I considered the price when I booked it to be a little on the steep side. However, with what everyone makes, the technical knowledge acquired and the generosity of materials I would say this is amazing value for money.

I would recommend this course to anyone interested in starting to work with glass. Jenny is encouraging , kind and a very knowledgeable teacher. She makes the process clear and fun to learn. Cheshire School of Glass is set in a barn conversion on a very pretty farm. The space is light and airy with a great creative atmosphere.

Thank you Jenny and Steph for the best course I have ever been on. You have made me believe I can do something well! The pieces that I made came out of the kiln really well. Even my family think they are fabulous. I have brought this course for my husband, daughter and myself (again ) to do together - in hope that my husband and daughter will see buying a kiln is a good idea. Cheshire school of glass is an excellent centre for all things glass .

An amazing experience. A good mixture of theory and practice. From start to finish Jenny and
Steph gave their all to ensure we not only gained sufficient knowledge but had an enjoyable day. I can't recommend this course more highly. Will definitely be returning to learn more

This was the best course I've been on. Good value for money. Jenny explained everything so clearly. I have been worried about firing the kiln I have bought and she made it all so easy. She is a very generous spirited teacher who knows the answer to all your questions. Jenny gave me lots of firing curves, for all the different glasses and catered to everyone's individual needs. A lady called Steph assisted Jenny who was equally as helpful and generous with knowledge. I will go back again with the discount I get for doing a further course. Very good atmosphere.

This is the creme de la creme of glass courses. Jenny has an excellent reputation as a Glass Artist and Tutor. She is so personable and has such an easy manner that she makes everyone feel at ease and creates self -belief in her students. Everyone created beautiful work that I think they didnt know they were capable of. I am definitely going to do another course with Cheshire School of Glass. Rachel Stanaway

I am so excited to see the results tomorrow. Ive had a great day and feel like a kid again. Jenny was so inspiring and helpful. Jodie thank you for your kindness and input as well. I will definitely be coming back. My family will be getting lots of Glass presents from now on, unless I like them too much to give away.

This has been a really brilliant experience. Jenny was so generous in every way. Please keep us on your books for other courses. I'm particularly interested if you do a pate de verre course as we discussed.
Anne Marie and Gary ledger - - #16078
I have never worked with glass before. I loved it! Jen taught us to cut glass and how to create stencils. We learnt about compatibility and what to use and what not to use! Jen gave us loads of notes on firing the kiln too; I don't have a kiln yet, but I think I will get a small one after doing a few more courses with Cheshire School of Glass. We were given a discount voucher for another course which I intend on booking now. Thank you for a great day.

Jenny what can I say... Wow!! A brilliant fun packed day. I'm totally pooped and it was worth every penny. I have learnt so much from you. I will sleep well tonight, after a long journey back to Malborough.
All the best, Stacey.
