About the Course
Come and join my evening class to learn further skills in Glass Fusing.
I will teach you a range of fusing techniques over the 6 weeks including using stringers, cutting glass, creating relief designs and other image making techniques.
Over the first 4 weeks we will focus on one aspect of glass fusing so you get a go at exploring what you enjoy and how a particular technique could be used to create artwork in the future.
The final 2 weeks of the course we will spend time making a a big final piece inspired by the techniques learned over the previous weeks.
Please contact me via the details above for more information and to book your place.

We had a great time learning lots of different techniques - I’m looking forward to moving on to the intermediate stage and trying different projects.

Sarah is ever patient with us and we have a really good time. The frustration is not doing excellent work first time. This is due to our poor skills and lack of experience, and unrealistic expectations! Sarah taught us techniques over a 4 week period. We then chose one or more of those for our final piece for the last 2 weeks. All of these skills are useful and will be used in the intermediate classes I have now chosen to do.
And she makes the best homemade biscuits ever!!

Having just completed a beginners glass fusion course with Sarah I can't wait to move onto the intermediate course. Sarah is an excellent tutor and happy to share her expertise Classes are relaxed with all participants able to work at their own pace and level. Projects are varied and interesting with the opportunity to try numerous techniques. Kiln carving was enjoyed by us all and used in our final pieces. If you have any interest in trying glass fusion I would certainly recommend you contact Sarah Brown. Thank you Sarah for an enjoyable six weeks, your homemade biscuits were a bonus!

Really enjoyed the course. Although not a complete beginner I learnt new techniques in a relaxed environment. Sarah is a very good course leader. Would recommend this course to anyone interested in starting a hobby of glass fusion.

Sarah is an excellent tutor. Not only is she very knowlegeable, but she is also patient and great at multi-tasking when we are all working on different projects.

A great class. A lot of fun and really well taught by Sarah. Everyone had different levels of experience but we were all able to learn lots about glass and how it can be used to create individual and unique pieces. Couldn't wait every week for the next lesson, 6 weeks just flew by, now I want to go back for more.
