3 x Thursday Evenings: 6.30pm - 8.30pm.
The Glass Fusing Evening Classes are designed to give total beginners an introduction to a new skill & give you time to create a beautiful piece of work. At the end of the 3 sessions, you will have created a glass bowl, wall hanging or large wave (approx 30cm x 30cm). The block of evening classes run on 3 consecutive Thursdays at 6.30pm - 8.30pm.
Week 1: this is all about learning to cut glass & lots of practising
Week 2: you'll create your design, cut the glass & layer up your design. This will then go into the kiln.
Week 3: finishing your design with by decorating with paint or extra glass.
Covid-19 Precautions
There will be a maximum of 6 people attending the class & there is a 2m gap between all work-stations, to help maintain social distancing. We also provide visors (or you can wear your own mask), and there is lots & lots of hand sanitiser. All equipment & materials are disinfected before the start of each day. It would be great if everyone attending could late a lateral-flow test, just for everyone’s piece of mind. If rules change, or you need to self-isolate, your class can just be rescheduled for another day.
Buying as a gift? Just select the most appropriate date and, if that turns out not to be suitable, the recipient can simply reschedule over the phone or by email (we just need 2 weeks' notice).
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All materials, tea & coffee.
4 evenings (6:30pm to 8:30pm)
