"Rustic, rural and relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and Sebastion's relaxed, friendly approach enabled each group member to achieve a most satisfying outcome. What better recommendation that three of the small group are regular visitors. I intend to re-visit myself. Thank-you Sebastion for facilitating such a memorable experience..."

Emma Edmunds reviewed: Potter's wheel pottery - half day course Siramik

"My sister and I attended the course together and we both thoroughly enjoyed the day. We laughed, made a mess and ended up making a few items we're both really proud of. Yoka was kind and helpful, even when my bowl was lobsided and looking sad she managed to work a miracle and get it back on track. It's a lovely course in a beautiful setting, well worth it."

Sue Hurst reviewed: Felt Pictures-Painting with fibres - intro to 2D wet felting/felt making

"A really enjoyable and instructive 2 day course. Heather is very clear and understandable, not only with instructions but also With the reasons why. Over the 2 evenings I managed to produce a 2d and 3D piece to a reasonable standard. Heather also provides a great range of merino wools in glorious colours for each project. As well as all other materials necessary. A productive, sociable, therapeutic experience."

Robert Kingsbury-Barker reviewed: Spoon carving for beginners - morning

"Amazing workshop, genuinely one of the most enjoyable things I've done in years! We did a 90-minute introduction to spoon-carving last weekend, and it's fair to say none of us wanted to stop at the end of the session. To take a piece of wood and, under expert tuition, turn it into a spoon, was a deeply satisfying experience. Stephen is an excellent tutor, never saying "You must do this" but gently guiding you towards an understanding of both tools and materials - he's also great company, with a constant supply of stories and advice. Suffice it to say we're all very interested in booking further courses with Stephen. Highly recommended!"

Jon Ward reviewed: Weekend introductory blacksmithing course 'B' at Quinnell School of Blacksmithing

"Brilliant course, you get stuck in and start making things within the first hour which I didn’t expect and by the end of the weekend I had produced some very useful items. I’m thinking about going back or doing another course with them sometime as I enjoyed it so much."
