"Attending this course on 25th July, I’ve had the most wonderful time learning a new way to create unique prints every single time. This technique has given me a lot of ideas on how to apply different materials for textures to the prints. The course is a great value for money as it has added a new way to my work, which I’ll be using in conjunction with my other art in future. Very inspiring. Jayne is such a patient teacher and showed me everything from beginning to end, even how to store away the gelli plate after finishing. Thank you Jayne. "

"I have recently completed my second silver ring making workshop with Sarah. This time it was in her beautiful new studio in Harts Barn, Longhope. Sarah is so knowledgeable and patient, she has a wonderful manner and it was so rewarding to see our rings take shape and all the processes they went through. It was incredibly good value and such a fabulous few hours with someone who knows their craft well and is able to impart their knowledge in an easy to follow way. Bramble, Sarah’s lovely dog joined in and we had freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream all in an amazing setting with a tremendous view. I’ll definitely do another workshop and would highly recommend Wye Creative to everyone!"

"I only went to TBF as an experience. I knew my wife liked bee's so thought she would enjoy it. We both found it to be fantastic. Dawn and Dafydd are brilliant. Very patient answering all questions and explaining everything you could possibly want to know about bees. They clearly love life and what they do. Honey also tastes fantastic. You really think honey bees are brilliant after seeing them in the hive. An experience everyone should have just to see what nature can achieve. They make you feel at ease at all points with bee's in close proximity not being a worry. Only FYI would bee is that they don't mention you need to take a baseball cap to keep the net away from your face. That you need to wear long socks. Also to wear trousers. I changed into trousers. Dawn gave me an oversized suit to mitigate the fact I was only wearing trainers socks. She also kindly lent us baseball caps. If you have a bucket list put this course on it :) you won't regret it."

Our teacher (Stephanie), taught us really good techniques in application of watercolour washes followed by learning how to paint a variety of grasses. "What a wonderful, memorable and very special day for both my sister and myself! I'd purchased a surprise jewellery making day for her to celebrate a special birthday and thought it would be great to do together and to each have something to take away and wear! The great reviews I'd read were certainly testimonies to Mark's skills, great teaching, encouragement, support to each individual to make whatever they chose. Each of us worked on a ring in the morning - learning all the basic skills that we could then use in our further choices in the afternoon. Fascinating seeing how much went into each part of the make! The afternoon gave us the opportunity to choose what we might like to do next, using the skills and knowledge from the morning and more besides. We both chose to do a bangle and had fun creating the design to imprint through the roller - similar but not the same and personalised with an additional stamped dandelion by my sister - a favourite for her - unknown to me and a special link to the name for Terri and Mark! Mark's workshop was a wonderful toolbox for all we needed - well kitted out and a work-station for each of the 3 of us there to enjoy our day of creativity. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark, he encouraged each of us throughout, Terri bringing drinks when needed. I can't recommend the course run by Mark and Terri of Dandelion and Silver enough - welcomed, taught many new skills with encouragement and patience, and came away with something we will each wear with pleasure and remember our special 'time out' and celebration together. Thank you - know I would love to return and have already had friends asking about where we went! Many thanks indeed!"

"I absolutely loved this day and was actually disappointed when it finished for the day. Jo manages to cover a huge span of techniques without the learning process seeming rushed and provides notes to take home which helps cement them. She creates a relaxed but fun vibe to the class and you will take home a piece of furniture that you can love and be proud of. I highly recommend trying it if you have even a smattering of interest in furniture painting or upcycling. "
