Thank you Tejal for such a wonderful day and for sharing your wealth of knowledge and expertise with me. The whole day was so relaxing and it was great to be able to go at my own speed and really absorb how to get familiar with the techniques. I’m over the moon with my sun catcher and I will always look at it with fondness and with memories of such a great teacher. I can’t wait to start exploring some of the other ideas and techniques we talked about.

This was such an enjoyable day! Tejal is an excellent teacher and so helpful and encouraging. She demonstrated all the techniques before I had a go myself. Every part of the process was interesting and Tejal explained them all so well that none were too challenging (although I'm glad there was plenty of time for practising cutting the glass!). I loved learning these new skills and was really pleased with my finished piece. I'd love to come back and make something else. Thank you Tejal!

Response from Glassseasons:

Thanks Christine, appreciate it!Look forward to seeing you:)

We had a beginner's one day workshop to make sun catchers. I chose to make a squirrel and my husband made a butterfly. Tejal gave us very clear instructions and was encouraging and supportive throughout. She led us through the four stages, demonstrating and then patiently helping us choose the colour of the glass, cut the shapes, smooth the edges. Then wrap the edges before soldering them together.
Tejal was very friendly and chatty, a good teacher. We really enjoyed the workshop and making stained glass shapes and would recommend this course to anyone.

Response from Glassseasons:

Thanks Liz, appreciate your valuable feedback. I am so proud of you both!

Tegal's course is perfect for anyone who wants to learn a new skill or develop an existing one in a beautiful, relaxed environment. She is extremely friendly and obviously experienced in teaching all ages.

This was the first art class I have taken in years and my only regret is not finding Tegal sooner, she has helped reinvigorate my creative side and was very helpful when it came to sourcing affordable materials.

Overall, an incredible experience, with a knowledgeable teacher. Highly recommend.

Response from Glassseasons:

Thanks so much, Nathan, I learned so much from you too, take care.hope to seeing your art work someday.

This was a brilliant day, I enjoyed it so much. Due to covid guidelines, it was only Tejal and I and she made it very comfortable. We had interesting chats and it was easy-going.

It is clear that Tejal is truly passionate about her craft; she made stained glass feel really easy and boosted my confidence a lot.

I also met her lovely, bright son who gave me a brief colour consultation on the colours I chose for my piece :) I was impressed!

I was so pleased with what I produced, even having time to produce 2 pieces, and will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Tejal!

Response from Glassseasons:

Thanks Ruby, it was my pleasure to teach you. Loved meeting you and I enjoyed your company. Take care.

I was so excited to be going on this stain glass course with my friend, it was a break from my duties as a mother of twins. It exceeded all my expectations - Tejal was a fab teacher, passionate about her craft and eager for you to find your joy in stain glass! She was patience, encouraging and helpful - it was a lot of fun! I hope to do this again with my sister in the future. We took away two gorgeous pieces of stain glass - despite it being our first time!!

Response from Glassseasons:

thank you, look forward to seeing you again.

My daughter (12) and I had a lovely 2 days with Tajal. We thoroughly enjoyed the fully hands on course and the instructions given were clear and helpful. We came away with a stained glass piece each to hang at home. I would happily recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning a new skill. Thanks so much Tejal, we may see you again for the next course. :-) (NB Covid safety measures used gave us extra confidence in being at the class.)

A wonderful and fulfilling experience. Learned a lot about how stained glass is made into different objects and the important tools and processes used. My teacher was very helpful, hands-on, and very open-minded, she was also very experienced in her craft and gave me plenty of resources in order to pursue stained glass creations, such as suppliers and a list of tools. Overall the class was well worth the price and has made me consider doing more courses in stained glass.

The family running the course couldn’t have been nicer. There were 8 of us and the course didn’t really work for that number. We should have had 2 days of 3 hours but the first day was 2 hrs and the second day 4. There was a lot of time when we weren’t doing anything as there wasn’t enough equipment.
Having said that we all came away happy with our makes and having learnt a new craft.

Response from Glassseasons:

Thanks you for your feedback, the downtime was to allow members of the group to interact with one another as it was a family event, and additional time was added as a buffer to ensure everyone's ability was accommodated. The venue has a restriction on how much equipment is allowed and I will be speaking to the venue manager about this. I appreciate your constructive feedback with transparent comments and will take this on board for future large group events. We look forward to continuing enhancing the course. Regards, Tejal

Really great craft to do. You can learn the basics pretty quickly and get great results in very little time!
Went with a group of 8 people. Tejal was a very good teacher, very positive and helpful.
We did struggle with time having too much time the first day and too little time the second. I think that if this was a one day course we would have been able to get the activities done in a time suitable for us. As there were only 2 pieces of equipment on day 2, there was a lot of waiting around. I did nothing for over an hour and then had to rush to finish.
Having said that, we all really enjoyed the craft and all came away with beautiful pieces that are now hanging up in our window!

Response from Glassseasons:

Thanks you for your feedback. I appreciate limited equipment was one of the concerns and will be speaking to the venue manager to see if they can permit more equipment for a larger group, it was lovely meeting and teaching you all and I was pleasantly surprised with everyone's skills.

I am glad you all completed your pieces beautifully and learnt a new skill! Take care :)

This was such a rewarding course. Having never carried out any glass work before Tejal's pace and level of teaching was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed the creative aspect of completing my butterfly over 2 half days and was perfect in giving me confidence to return and complete additional pieces of work for gifts. Tejal's studio is a little haven of tranquillity that facilitates the creative process and I am looking forward to returning to make more beautiful pieces of work in my found new hobby. I have a little list of items I hope to accomplish in 2020.

A truly fantastic workshop. This was my second project with Tejal. Firstly, I made a stained glass table top and this time i made a column lamp. Both pieces are beautiful which as a family we will always treasure. Tejal is a brilliant teacher with inspirational ideas and is patient and kind. Her workshop is an oasis of calm in her garden which is beautifully fitted out with all the necessary equipment and high quality materials. I thoroughly enjoyed my classes and I am looking forward to the next. Thank you very much.

As someone who has never been any good at any form of art, I attended Tejal's beginner course this last weekend. It was a birthday present from my wife and kids. What a fantastic experience I had. As I was a beginner, I was treated to a one on one course which is what Tejal does with all beginners. We went through step by step, loads of explaining, demonstrating and positive encouragement from Tejal. When I had finished my project, I was amazed that I could accomplish my finished piece. I can only praise and recommend Tejal's course to anyone who has an interest in stained glass. You will not be sorry. Tejal, thank you so much. I will be back to do the intermediate course in the future. Thanks for all the info and links for tools and equipment that I will need.

Response from Glassseasons:

thanks graham, appreciate it!

This was my first experience of making stained glass but hopefully not my last.
I was a little apprehensive before the weekend as I have mobility issues and use crutches, but I needn't have worried. Tejal's studio is level access and has an accessible toilet. I was able to sit when I needed.
Tejal demonstrated each step and explained everything in great detail, I learnt so much over the 2 days. Her love for her craft is obvious and infectious and makes you want to learn more. There were challenging moments but Tejal was there giving encouragement and support as needed. The end result was a beautiful butterfly .
I hope to do another course at some stage in the future. Thanks Tejal for a wonderful experience
