A wonderful and fulfilling experience. Learned a lot about how stained glass is made into different objects and the important tools and processes used. My teacher was very helpful, hands-on, and very open-minded, she was also very experienced in her craft and gave me plenty of resources in order to pursue stained glass creations, such as suppliers and a list of tools. Overall the class was well worth the price and has made me consider doing more courses in stained glass.
Response from Glassseasons:Thanks Aaron, appreciate your feedback, look forward to seeing you again!
My partner and I loved this two day course. Tejal was an excellent teacher and her enthusiasm shone through. Our heads were buzzing with all of the skills we had to learn to complete a butterfly and boat.
We are hoping to continue to learn about stained glass and can't wait until Tejal offers another glass course.
Response from Glassseasons:Thanks, take care.It was lovely meeting you and training both.Love to see again!
A very good introduction to completing a simple glass project. The course introduces the concepts of cutting, foiling, grinding and soldering pieces of glass. The course is well paced and the tutor informative and enthusiastic.
The family running the course couldn’t have been nicer. There were 8 of us and the course didn’t really work for that number. We should have had 2 days of 3 hours but the first day was 2 hrs and the second day 4. There was a lot of time when we weren’t doing anything as there wasn’t enough equipment.
Having said that we all came away happy with our makes and having learnt a new craft.
Response from Glassseasons:Thanks you for your feedback, the downtime was to allow members of the group to interact with one another as it was a family event, and additional time was added as a buffer to ensure everyone's ability was accommodated. The venue has a restriction on how much equipment is allowed and I will be speaking to the venue manager about this. I appreciate your constructive feedback with transparent comments and will take this on board for future large group events. We look forward to continuing enhancing the course. Regards, Tejal
Really great craft to do. You can learn the basics pretty quickly and get great results in very little time!
Went with a group of 8 people. Tejal was a very good teacher, very positive and helpful.
We did struggle with time having too much time the first day and too little time the second. I think that if this was a one day course we would have been able to get the activities done in a time suitable for us. As there were only 2 pieces of equipment on day 2, there was a lot of waiting around. I did nothing for over an hour and then had to rush to finish.
Having said that, we all really enjoyed the craft and all came away with beautiful pieces that are now hanging up in our window!
Response from Glassseasons:Thanks you for your feedback. I appreciate limited equipment was one of the concerns and will be speaking to the venue manager to see if they can permit more equipment for a larger group, it was lovely meeting and teaching you all and I was pleasantly surprised with everyone's skills.
Tejal is very knowledgeable and helpful.
The course was just for two people so it was a luxury to have access to the workshop on nearly one2one basis.
I had an amazing experience and created wonderful stained glass sun catcher.
We also had great chats in between the lessons. I would recommend this course to everyone who wants to discover a new hobby.
Response from Glassseasons:Thanks Katarzyna, your valuable comments are very much appreciated!
Thoroughly enjoyed the course with Tejal! She is a great teacher- knowledgable, friendly and explained everything very comprehensively. The course is well thought out and organised.
It was a delight to work in her immaculately clean studio in the garden - and I came home with a project to be proud of!
Response from Glassseasons:Thanks Aviva, it was a pleasure meeting and teaching you!
This was such a rewarding course. Having never carried out any glass work before Tejal's pace and level of teaching was perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed the creative aspect of completing my butterfly over 2 half days and was perfect in giving me confidence to return and complete additional pieces of work for gifts. Tejal's studio is a little haven of tranquillity that facilitates the creative process and I am looking forward to returning to make more beautiful pieces of work in my found new hobby. I have a little list of items I hope to accomplish in 2020.
Response from Glassseasons:thanks Anna, appreciate your feedback.
A truly fantastic workshop. This was my second project with Tejal. Firstly, I made a stained glass table top and this time i made a column lamp. Both pieces are beautiful which as a family we will always treasure. Tejal is a brilliant teacher with inspirational ideas and is patient and kind. Her workshop is an oasis of calm in her garden which is beautifully fitted out with all the necessary equipment and high quality materials. I thoroughly enjoyed my classes and I am looking forward to the next. Thank you very much.
Response from Glassseasons:Thank-You and I am so proud of you completing the beautiful column lamp!
Wonderful 2 day course spent in Tejal's brilliant studio - Tejal is an excellent teacher, generous with her time, encouragement and creativity - her studio space is inspiring as is she - already looking for ideas for my next project in her intermediate classes !
Response from Glassseasons:thanks carol, appreciate it!
As someone who has never been any good at any form of art, I attended Tejal's beginner course this last weekend. It was a birthday present from my wife and kids. What a fantastic experience I had. As I was a beginner, I was treated to a one on one course which is what Tejal does with all beginners. We went through step by step, loads of explaining, demonstrating and positive encouragement from Tejal. When I had finished my project, I was amazed that I could accomplish my finished piece. I can only praise and recommend Tejal's course to anyone who has an interest in stained glass. You will not be sorry. Tejal, thank you so much. I will be back to do the intermediate course in the future. Thanks for all the info and links for tools and equipment that I will need.
Response from Glassseasons:thanks graham, appreciate it!
I really enjoyed the course. Every step was explained and demonstrated well and I felt able to complete each task following this. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I would definitely recommend the course and do another myself.
Response from Glassseasons:Thanks! Much appreciated.
Tejal is friendly and welcoming and I truly enjoyed this two day Stained Glass beginners course. I loved her enthusiasm and obvious love for this craft and her willingness to share her knowledge.
Knowing nothing at the start, I now feel so much more inspired, knowledgeable and enthusiastic to do and learn more.
Thank you Tejal, you are a great advocate.
