Description

Held in the lovely rural village of Temple just 15 miles south of Edinburgh, our half day candle making workshop will give you the basic skills to create a scented container candle made from 100% soy wax choosing from a selection of fine fragrance oils. Our groups are kept small (a maximum of 10) to allow for individual attention. Workshop Content - Overview of the different types of wax and their differences in candle making. - You will learn about the different fragrance options (essential oils v fragrance oils) you will be able to choose your own scent from our fragrance library. - You will make your own bespoke fragrance oil blend - You will learn the step by step process of making a container candle. - You will assemble and hand pour your own container candle. - How to burn a candle correctly. - You will learn how to measure the correct amount of wax and fragrance to use in candles. - We will cover the equipment needed for candle making. By the end of the workshop you will be able to make a soy wax container candle. There will also be time to ask questions. What you will take away - A scented container candle that you have hand poured yourself. - Your own bespoke 10ml fragrance oil blend - Workshop notes We also sell starter candle making kits so you can continue with your new hobby at home.
