Wonderful 2 hours making a selection of candles, very enjoyable and relaxed session facilitated by Wendy, who gave step by step instructions which were easy to follow. Value for money, thank you so much for your kind advice and information. D & C
Lovely 2.5 hours. Wendy was lovely and explained the process fully. I made some lovely candles. Great fun, thank you
This class was great. I really enjoyed it Wendy was brilliant, she made us feel welcome. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going back to do a few other classes.
I really enjoyed the class. It was really interesting and I learnt a lot. Going back for another course in March.
This was a birthday gift from my partner. As it was a surprise I didn’t know what to expect until the day before I attended. I spent a lovely day with Wendy (I had two courses booked) and had lots of fun making candles with her. She is very patient and knowledgeable so didn’t leave any question unanswered. Her little boutique is very welcoming and tidy so the whole experience was very enjoyable. I think I’ll be able to make candles on my own thanks to her clear teaching + leaflet she gave me before I left.
We had a lovely morning with Wendy which we really enjoyed, it was an informative and fun course and we look forward to trying one of the other craft courses.
We had great fun making a variety of candles with Wendy. It was a lovely, relaxed morning and Wendy is a great teacher. There is a choice of colour and fragrance for your candles and we also made some using beeswax. The shop is full of other goodies too and we certainly came away with more than just candles!
Very enjoyable, good atmosphere. Clear explanation of how to use the beeswax sheets, and then plenty of time to play around and make our own candles.
We had such a fun morning making a variety of different candles with Wendy. Some were beeswax and others colourful and scented. It was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and Wendy was a great teacher. We’ll definitely be signing up for some more workshops!
My 2 friends asnd I loved our afternoon making candles with Wendy yesterday. Wendy has all the technical know how if you want to make your own candles in the future, but is just as happy to guide you through the basics of making 5-6 candles during the session. A relaxed atmosphere, punctuated with tea and biscuits while the candles set. My favourite is a geranium one in a silver tin. A perfect session for friends or family and any age over about 12 I would estimate (check with Wendy!), given the use of hot wax. I am not remotely ‘craft-y’ but very much enjoyed it and would highly recommend.
My daughter and I had a lovely Sunday afternoon with Wendy learning how to makes all sorts of different types of candle using different methods. As others have said, Wendy is inifitely patient and explains things very well. We have now done a number of different courses at The Little Craftery, and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Thank you :-)
Another very enjoyable couple of hours with Wendy, learning about candle making. Wendy answered all my questions knowledgably and is infinitely patient. I came away with a selection of 4 candles and 4 tea lights and bought supplies to make some more. This is the second course I have done with Wendy and can thoroughly recommend her.
I did this workshop with my 2 daughters and we all enjoyed a relaxing and therapeutic experience, and we were pleased to have made a selection of different candles to take away with us. Thank you Wendy.
Really enjoyed this candlemaking course, so much so that I am interested in carrying on making them at home. Wendy is a brilliant teacher with lots of patience. She takes time to explain everything and is willing to help if you get stuck with anything. I have done other courses with her, and have booked her Silk Paper Making course for the autumn.
Really lovely evening candle making … great teacher , encouraging and friendly .
I attended this class some while ago, and had a great time. Bought some more supplies and went and showed them at church, and at my annual get together with my sisters. (prior to covid)
Everyone I showed found it very easy, because thats the way Wendy shows you how to do it. Easily.
Good value too because you take home what you make.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Friendly, relaxed, easy to follow and great instructions to take home (rather than having to take lots of notes!). Really enjoyed the experience and looking forward to making more candles soon! Thank you! Jen x
We had a lovely time at the workshop, which was fantastically led and brilliant value. Would definitely recommend to friends and family
I recently attended Wendy's workshop in candle making, as I'm an avid candle fan and wondered if I could master making my own. Wendy's teaching style is gently relaxed and patient, with pleasant music in the background and great coffee.
I soon created an assortment of candles in different styles and colours, but it was rolling beeswax candles that really set me afire...I loved the natural scent and appearance of my creations.
Her workshop has given me the confidence to have a bash at home and has set my creative tastebuds tingling.
Thank you so much.
Our candle making session was a fun, informative and really enjoyable afternoon and I made 8 candles to take home!
A very relaxing afternoon spent learning about the basics of candle making. As well as coming away with some lovely little candles to light at home, I'm enthused to have another go at making some on my own.
I did Wendy's candle-making course and loved it. We all went away with 7 candles, learnt a load of techniques we can use at home to make some more and had a fun afternoon with some lovely people. I am going back for more of Wendy's classes.
Such a fun course and absolutely fascinating to be able to produce so much in such a short period of time. Very relaxed atmosphere and very very enjoyable.
I really enjoyed this class which was well run, giving lots of advice and encouragement. My son has already bagged two of my candles!
