Description
Learn to sculpt your own small willow animal in the grounds of my home in the beautiful setting of Donington Le Heath. We can work indoors or outdoors (weather permitting). Come and join me for a fun and relaxed informal day willow weaving. To start off with I would recommend a small animal or bird as the craft is very time consuming and I want you to leave with a finished piece of willow sculpture. I will show you the techniques I use to make the sculpture from start to finish and feel free to bring along any pictures to work from, or I can print a picture of your choosing as a reference for you to work from when you arrive. What's included in the price?
Tea/coffee and a light lunch will be provided throughout the day and materials are included in the price. We are close to Kelham Bridge nature reserve if you fancied a short walk on your break. I would recommend that you choose a small sculpture to start with and if you could think about what you would like to make and advise me it would be very helpful so I can plan your day. We have accomodation in the village available if you need to stay over just ask for details on booking

I've always been very creative and artistic so I decided to attend a willow weaving workshop myself and thoroughly enjoyed it and was hooked. I set up my workshops 4 years ago and have met some wonderful people who have sculpted some fantastic sculptures. I also work away from home at various venues across Leicestershire and I work on commissions and also sell my work on ebay along with my artwork
