Jewellery making at the Cheshire School of Glass

Description

Working with a range of decorative fusible glass types, you will develop an understanding of glass fusing which enable you to make stunning jewellery. You will experiment with colour, shape, bubble pens and other decorative items to create pendants, earrings and cuff links. You will be taught to use dichroic glass which adds a bit of magic dazzle to fused jewellery. Everything you need to make your finished pieces is included in the course, including the jewellery findings. "An incredible experience. Jenny is so enthusiatic and knowledgable you can't help but enjoy eveything this course has to offer. "An Excellent course! There were 4 of us on the course and we had such a good time. It was 2 days of indulgence and relaxing. Their were a lot of materials including dicroich glass. Jenny gave all of us jewellery findings for our work and showed us how to attach them. Lunch and drinks provided in abundance. I will definitely be purchasing a microwave kiln , which we tried... although most of our work was fired in a conventional kiln for speed. Thanks Jan"

"What a great day! A friend and I booked this. We live in stockport, so it was close enough for us to drive over to Frodsham for the day. The workshop was really lovely. We had lots of materials to use in every colour needed and lots of dicroich glass to play with! We learnt to programme the kiln, not that I could remember how to do it again! Jenny gave us firing temperature notes though! Jenny also introduced us to Microwave kilns . I had never heard of them, so i and Lucy may buy on between us. Jenny gave us loads of jewellery findings to put our pieces on. Two very happy customers!"
