"I have just finished the Monday night course and have signed up to go back after Easter! Martin is a great teacher and he has thought of everything! You make 3 items in total, following a template you make a stained glass panel using foil, then a second leaded panel before completing your own project under Martin’s expert guidance. Everyone has their own tools and dedicated work space. There are full colour options when choosing your glass for your first two projects, and an abundance of glass available on site if you need to purchase any for your own project. Everyone is so friendly and interested in each other’s work. It’s an amazing atmosphere at the sessions. Martin explains each stage very clearly and is very encouraging. Nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely recommend!!!"

"Really excellent day spent with Alan in his beautiful home learning how to carve a spoon from a log. Clear, concise instructions given throughout with plenty of time spent on techniques to ensure effective and safe carving. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in spoon carving or whittling in general. "

"Did this day course with my adult daughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Ged's cottage and workshop is located in a lovely setting and this in itself is uplifting. The course itself is excellent with high quality tools and natural materials supplied, moreover Ged is an excellent tutor who is highly skilled and has infinite patience. All in all a wonderful experience which was relaxing and therapeutic, with the added bonus of a lovely handcrafted stool to take away. Highly recommended!"

I can’t recommend the day with Rosie highly enough - I left feeling confident I could give some of the techniques a go on my own, which I would never have expected at the start of the day! "

"Excellent course. Jo, the tutor, was great at sharing her knowledge and experience but also at letting us get on with it independently. We were able to work at our own speeds with help from Jo when we needed it. Lovely results. I’m proud of my stained glass window and really enjoyed the process. Stanwick lakes was a great location and the staff at the Lakes were all friendly and very helpful. I would recommend the course and the location. Thank you."

"Genny is a friendly and very experienced teacher. She is patient and explains things very clearly. The Tetrapak method of printing is easy to master and you can get some lovely results.
