Angie Weston reviewed: Slate mosaic workshop at Jo Garden Art

"Another fabulous two day course with Jo. Having previously made to large hares, I thought I would try the two day Slate Workshops. What a wonderful way to spend two days! On arrival, I knew nothing about working with slate but as always, Jo explained everything that we needed to know in order to create two small pieces and one larger piece on the second day. Jo is so friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I would recommend this course to anyone thinking of trying something a bit different. Thank you Jo."

Jo Garden Art responded:

"Thank you so much Angie. All your pieces were lovely and I hope are now displayed up on walls at home. Hope to see you again! Jo xx"

"The entire 2 day course was thoroughly enjoyable, informative, supportive and a fabulous way to spend time creating pieces using a variety of methods and techniques. Nathalie was an excellent tutor, explaining the processes in detail, allowing time for 'investigation' of the effects from the different tools and it was great to see them at the start of the 2nd day to help inform my final idea."

"We had a great day with Trish in her lovely workshop. The tutoring was interesting, informative and fun. The workshop was light and airy, a perfect space with views over the countryside. The lunch was homemade soup and bread, followed by cheese and homemade chutneys. Best of all we all came away with a completed seat pad, and a new craft learned that we could go further with in our own time."

"Thank you very much Sharon for your lovely review. I'm really glad that you enjoyed your day. Trish"

Angie Carney reviewed: Portrait Drawing

" So interesting to cover the basics around placing features properly, measuring angles etc. These are things I’ve always done (and often got not quite right) simply by looking carefully… having this really good guidance will up my game I reckon! Also, haven’t used charcoal for decades, and never learned how to use it properly. Definitely going to do some more of this! Feeling chuffed 🄰 #alexandrawoodsart #newbreweryarts #learningtodraw #portraiture #charcoaldrawing #youcanteachanolddognewtricks #chuffed"

Patricia Harris reviewed: Art clay silver

"Really enjoyed our course, Jade's instruction was informative but relaxed and we left with jewellery we could actually wear straight away. Provided with the materials, molds, patterns plates and all the tools, loops, chains and hooks we could need to walk away with real silver jewellery that looked very professional (if we do say so ourselves!). Nothing was too much hassle, we weren't rushed, and were allowed to finish our pieces to a really high standard with some extra help from Ian. We are already planning another course with Jade and Ian. "

Goldwrightsjewelleryschool responded:

" A great morning and so nice to meet you all. Such different jewellery made by you all. Personal and beautiful 🤩 "
