Stunning Handmade Fused Glass Dragonfly Indoor/Outdoor Suncatcher Ornament
Description
This beautiful handmade glass dragonfly has been crafted from high quality fusing glass and the wing details are hand painted. Once fired in the kiln for 12 hours each dragonfly is hand finished and wire wrapped in either pure copper or silver plated copper wire and attached to a matching 30cm length of chain. This piece can be displayed outside in the garden or inside your home in a sunny window or on a sun soaked wall for maximum effect :) Each pieces is wrapped with care and I dispatched all my parcels first class with Royal Mail in 1-3 days of receiving an order. How this was made
High quality fusing glass, decorated with hand painted wing details and adorned with handmade glass beads. Firing in the kiln at over 700 Degrees Celsius. Wire wrapped by hand with copper wire and hung from sturdy chain to finish.

Silversmith & Glass Artist - I started making art from a young age and in my teens began to teach myself to solder and work with metals such as copper, brass and silver. I worked as a designer/maker of bespoke sterling silver and gemstone jewellery for 4 years selling my work online and in high street galleries in the town where I grew up. Later, I found an interest in kiln fired glass and joined a studio at a popular Craft Village in Derby. I moved to the Norfolk Countryside in 2017 and I have been working with glass for nearly 7 years now - I love it. I have recently combined my passion for jewellery making and fused glass in my latest work. The dragonfly collection is a combination of both of my passions which makes them very special to me.
