You’ll gather molten glass, shape it with traditional tools, and create 2–3 unique pieces to take home. What's included in the price?
Step into the hot shop and experience the thrill of working with molten glass. This full-day course offers a rare chance to make your own hand-blown glassware using traditional tools and techniques. You’ll receive close, one-to-one guidance throughout — learning how to gather glass from the furnace, shape it using wooden blocks and jacks, and blow it into form. Expect to make 2–3 pieces across the day, such as tumblers, bowls, or vases — each one completely unique and made by you.

Due to the heat and equipment, participants must be aged 16+. Younger guests may attend to watch by prior arrangement.
No — your piece needs to cool slowly in a kiln overnight. You can collect it later or choose to have it posted (postal fee applies).
Please wear natural fibre clothing (like cotton), long trousers, and closed-toe shoes. Avoid synthetic fabrics. We’ll provide safety glasses and kevlar safety sleeves.
