I have a number of seasonal themed Glass Fusing Classes suitable for complete beginners and those who have tried glass fusing before or want to learn new fusing technique.
The next theme is Summer (yes, I'm optimistic it will arrive soon!) and we will be doing a range of summery themed pieces. Please contact me to enquire about which course runs on which dates:
The first is Make a Wace Class, during the class you will learn traditional fusing techniques and about how different temperatures change the look of fused glass. We will also have a cuppa and some homemade goodies to nibble on too.
Next up is Beach Hut Frames. Come and join me to make your very own beach hut frame, you will learn how to use enamel, and have the chance to either go freestyle with your design for the beach huts or use some that I have prepared for you. It will be a relaxing session with some tea and homemade biscuits included in the price. This class also includes the firing of your your piece too! .
To give you an idea of the sort of things these classes include we have previously made Glass Wreaths, Reindeer, Penguins and Puds, Firework Displays, Beach Hut Frames, Glass Ice Creams, Spring Blossom and I'm currently planning more new ideas too! We will make a different project on each date, please contact me for more details.
Most of these classes are for 2.5 hours, ideal for an evening out or an afternoon with friends or a group. Sometimes I run a full day with the range of classes for that season too, so it you can't decide which you'd like to do this is a great option! (this option is more expensive, but saves you money rather than attending each class separately).
If you like the sound of these and have a group get in touch for your own dates and time. :)
If you will be redeeming a CraftCourses gift voucher on this course, the voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
The price includes all materials needed to achieve the project plus homemade goodies and tea/coffee. For the whole day please bring a packed lunch.

Sarah is a wonderful teacher, patient, kind and genuine.
My Mum and had a bespoke class whilst we were visiting the area on a trip away, Sarah fitted us in and gave us plenty of time and encouragement to make items of our choice, showing the techniques to achieve the desired effect.
Tea and home made biscuits were an added bonus :)
As my work needed two firings Sarah even went the extra mile to personally hand deliver my work to me when passing the area, turning up on my doorstep with a smile.
Many thanks Sarah x
We had a wonderful day making festive glass with Sarah - penguins, puddings, reindeer, wreaths and snowy scenes! Sarah is lovely and her homemade cakes are delicious. We will definitely be attending more classes with her.
Sarah is a great teacher and is so helpful in getting you to bring out the best of your talents however meagre they are. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. I have learnt a lot still I started her class and will continue to enjoy the wonders of glass.
I really enjoyed the Reindeer, Penguins and puddings course. Sarah is a fantastic teacher and explained the technique really well. The class had a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and the evening was great fun. I would definitely recommend the classes at Sarah's studio and hope to return myself for another class soon.
