Description

A 2 hour introductory class for those who are absolute beginners - you will learn the very basics of throwing on the potters wheel.
Centering your clay, coning the clay, shaping and working with your tools and turning it at the end to perfect the shape.

This is a fantastic way to enjoy and learn the age old art of the potters wheel which due to the Pottery throw down has become very much in trend. It has to be on everyone bucket list.

After we have dried your pot off you can then paint it either on the wheel wheel spinning or with many other techniques with our Colour 2 clay colours that go onto unfired clay. Alternatively you can choice for us to dip your pot into anyone of 10 lovely stoneware glazes.

The classes are kept small so you get lots of help to make a lovely pot.
We have 5 wheels so we take 1 to 5 people on a class. Each person has their own dedicated potters wheel.

Please wear appropriate clothing such as jeans, tea shirt and jumper. Soft flat shoes are best, tie long hair up and no watch or jewellery as they will get dirty.

Your pottery will l be glazed and fired within 10 days ready to collect or have shipped for an additional £10

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
