About the Course

Try out pot throwing, hand building, clay modelling on a two hour taster course at Paddock Studio Pottery in the South Downs.
The price for one to one is £60; if two people share the class the fee is £90 for two hours.

The pottery is small but provides a great opportunity for individual tuition or two people sharing a course. This could include a mixture of throwing on the wheel and hand-building, with time to concentrate on one or the other. A variety of techniques can be explored to decorate your work. Stoneware clay is used and fired in an electric kiln with a choice of glazes.

Lewes is a lively historic town set in the South Downs. Plenty to explore, so a great opportunity to combine a pottery course with other interests.

Bed and breakfast available in the area.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

All materials, firing costs and refreshments.
