"I had an amazing day with Rowena. She's knowledgeable, patient, and has a wonderful sense of humor. I'll be back again to glaze my pots, and I'm so chuffed I managed to throw 6 items in the end! She listened and helped me build on my previous knowledge of clay. It was a very meditative process and I left the day feeling accomplished and chilled out. Keep your elbows on the bowl!"

"We had a fabulous day with Rowena learning how to make pots on the potter's wheel in the morning, and moving on to designing and decorating shallow bowls in a mould in the afternoon. Rowena was extremely patient and encouraging and at the end of the day we had somehow managed to make some pottery that we could be proud of. We look forward to seeing our finished products when the come out of the kiln in a few weeks time - we highly recommend the experience!"

"What an amazing day. Spent the morning with Rowena learning about throwing pots and hands on pot turning for my wife and I. The afternoon was spent creating a dish with rolled clay and decorating it. I would highly recommend this as either an experience to try something different, a way to spend more time with a loved one, or as a taster for a new hobby. Rowena was a great teacher also which made the day all the more interesting. We even get to keep our pots once they have dried out and been glazed. "

"The one day course was a real treat - such fun going from complete beginner to throwing a pot with the excellent guidance of Rowena. This gave me a very good and real view into the very many stages it takes to make a pot and the skill required. The only improvement would be if there could be an optional subsequent half day to apply the glazes, but I appreciate this may be a logistics nightmare."

Rowena was very enthusiastic and adapted the course to focus on the areas I wanted more help with. In just one day, I went from throwing small tealight holders to bowls and pourers I was really proud of. If you're looking for a little 'clay'cation, I cannot recommend Rowena's course enough! She is a brilliant teacher and wonderful company. I'm hoping to return again soon."
