Whether you have always wanted a go at pottery or just something fun to do, come and Join us for this fabulous Half Day Pottery Experience at our pottery studio In the beautiful village of Heskin, Lancashire.

We are open everyday except Sunday & Monday The classes are suitable for beginners and those aged 14 years+ with an attending adult.

The session starts by having some fun throwing pots on the potters wheel, your first pot is made with help, tips and advice along the way, you then have time to have a go by yourself.

This is followed by some traditional hand building, using the coiling method of construction. You can make something functional or decorative during this time. Mugs, vases, lidded pots, utensil pots, pet dishes are just some of the items our visitors have made.

You will be shown how to assemble & create your item in clay step by step. We have loads of ideas in the studio to help you decide what to make.

Bisque firing is included in the session, ready for collection 3 weeks later. They can then be painted with acrylics at home. Should you wish you can return to the studio for glazing, this is an optional extra at a cost of £15pp.

The Crafty Potter studio is based within Heskin shopping Village, a unique retail and leisure destination featuring over 40 unique shops and businesses, With free parking we’re a perfect destination for you to make a great fun day out.

The class makes a fabulous gift for all occasions.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
