Covid19 Update: We are running classes while taking as many safety precautions as possible. Please get in touch.
My husband, Chris Greening, runs classes in pottery and I run classes in glass fusing and enamelling separately (you can find our other classes on Craft Courses). Jointly, we offer a combined half-days course (1-day courses are also available - please ask) in our workshop/studio in Worcester. This makes a great activity for families or friends - we often get generations of family booking a day out together or groups of friends for a birthday celebration or couples wanting a shared experience for an anniversary etc. (Ages 10-16 accompanied by paying adult)
The course is 3 hours long and will include a pottery class of approx 1.5 hours (Max. 4 people in each class with a wheel each) and a glass or enamelling class of approx 1.5 hours with tea/coffee offered.
Pottery: You will have a wheel each with full tuition. In the 1.5 hour session you'll have time to make a couple of bowls on the wheel and then decorate them with coloured slips. Chris will fire them once dried and glazed which takes 2-3 weeks.
Glass: You will be shown the basics of glass fusing and a wide array of materials available. In the 1.5 hour session you'll have time to create about 2-3 items of your choice: jewellery, coaster, sun-catcher, Christmas decorations, cocktail stirrers etc. Sarah will fire them for you and fix jewellery bails which takes about 1-2 weeks. Alternatively, you can choose to do enamelling - you could make 3 pieces of enamelled copper jewellery in the time (these are ready to take away with you on the day).
You can choose a morning or afternoon - we are quite flexible on timing and dates and can run for between 1-4 people on a date to be arranged between us
The cost for the half day course includes all materials and the firing of your pieces (for collection in approximately 2-3 weeks)(postage can be arrange at a cost). If you would prefer a whole day course please see our other listings via the 'See more from this course organiser' link below.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Tea and coffee offered. All materials and equipment are provided.
Pottery can get a bit messy (aprons are provided) so bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty!

A super day all round. Chris and Sarah are very skilled in their own art and are so patient and encouraging throughout. I felt very safe as the day was Covid complaint at all times and I enjoyed the bonus of lunch and a chat mid day . Chris and Sarah are so warm and share so much of their knowledge to make the day informative and add to my understanding of two crafts. I’ll be back!! Thank you xxx
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Lovely to meet you! Your glass is all successfully out of the kiln and pots will follow! Thanks very much for taking the time to leave a review. Merry Christmas, Sarah and Chris
I went with my daughter in early October.. It was my second time with Sarah.
Sarah is great - explains things really clearly, is encouraging and patient, and helps you to make your ideas work.
We both made coasters that we were delighted with, as well as a ring, and hanging decorations.
Arrangements for our safety were good and we felt very comfortable wearing visors.
Looking forward to next time.
Thank you, Sarah!
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Hello Kay - It was great to see you again for a 2nd session and so pleased you both loved your finished pieces! Thank you for mentioning the safety - we obviously take it very seriously but also hope that it doesn't impact on the enjoyment. Many thanks, Sarah
My husband and I attended this course in October. A fantastic way to try some new crafts, lose ourselves in creativity and effectively escape for the day. Both the glass fusing and pottery tuition was excellent. We both made some pieces we feel really proud of and they have just arrived safely at our home having been posted after being fired etc... Must not forget to mention delicious lunch and wonderful hospitality from this creative pair.
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Great to spend the day with you both! So pleased you love your finished pieces. Stay safe, Sarah & Chris
We went to a glass workshop at the end of October.
Sarah offered us visors to wear instead of our masks, which was a great idea given the duration of the workshop. We felt safe throughout, with the set up allowing social distancing.
Sarah was incredibly knowledgeable, encouraging, kind and helpful throughout the session, and I’d highly recommend the workshop for absolute beginners as well as those who do have some knowledge of glass fusing.
We made 7 pieces in total between the two of us, and the overall experience is something we won’t forget - in a good way!
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Thanks very much Matt - you made some great pieces and so pleased you enjoyed yourselves! Many thanks
Amazing 2 hours. We really enjoyed this course. Sarah is a patient teacher. I would definitely attend again and have some more fun - I have my eye on a sun catcher :)
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Lovely to meet you both - so pleased you enjoyed yourselves! thanks very much for leaving feedback
My husband bought me a voucher for 3 people to attend the glass fusing class so I decided to takey sons who are 15 as they enjoy doing creative things. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, we made some (hopefully!) lovely pieces... collecting soon to see the final pieces and can't wait. Lovely atmosphere even in the circumstances at the moment. Would highly recommend :)
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:You were all very creative! Thanks very much for taking the time to leave feedback - very much appreciated.
My 11yo daughter and I had a lovely day with Sarah and Chris. Relaxed, informative and productive, we can’t wait to see how our items turn out. Lunch was delicious too!
As our day was during Covid times, Sarah and Chris took care to wear appropriate ppe as did we, the workshops were well ventilated and we maintained a social distance throughout.
We’re already looking forward to doing another one! ☀️
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Thanks very much Olivia! Great to have such enthusiastic learners - hope Sophie enjoys her new hobby!
Always fancied trying pottery & glass fusion, so was delighted when I spotted Chris & Sarah's courses. So far have only had one half day course, but would like to book more. They both took time & were very patient with me. Would recommend any one to give it a go. Also would make great presents for birthdays or Christmas.
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Thanks so much Robin! And thanks for suggesting the course as a Christmas or birthday gift - an activity is a memorable gift for someone and they get to make something to be proud of too! Many thanks
A really positive day with Sarah and Chris doing the pottery and glass fusing day last week. It was just myself and my daughter due to Covid restrictions and the whole day was relaxed but productive. Neither of us have ever done wheel pottery or glass fusion but we both felt we learnt so much in just a day under the calm supervision and teaching of Sarah and Chris and made several pieces of pottery and glass that we were really pleased with. Lunch was lovely and we would really recommend this craft day.
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Hello Debbie, So kind of you to leave such a positive review of your day - it was lovely to meet you both a help you make some fabulous pieces! Will let you know when they're ready for you. Many thanks, Sarah & Chris
My daughter and I spent a really enjoyable few hours on our half day pottery/glass fusing course. We were both complete beginners but Chris and Sarah took plenty of time to guide us through the techniques needed to make a variety of different pieces in both of the classes. Chris knew that I was a cake maker so suggested that I have a go at making a small pottery cupcake stand, I can't wait to pick it up to see if it survived the kiln or not! We made so many different items in the glass fusing class and are both looking forward to picking them up tomorrow to see what the finished items look like. I would highly recommend both the pottery and glass fusing course to anyone that would like a few hours to relax and get creative. Thank you Sarah and Chris.
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:So pleased you both enjoyed the half day course! Looking forward to handing over your finished pieces tomorrow! Thanks very much for leaving a review for us too.
This day was shared with my husband and me, both being complete novices.
Sarah provided a very positive day for me. She clearly explained the techniques and options available for my project and was always on hand supporting (but in an inobtrusive way) so I could try my own creative ideas whenever possible. I was amazed that I was able to make a range of items beyond what I had anticipated, and can't wait to collect the fired items in a few weeks. Would recommend this day course to anyone who wants to bring out their inner artisan. Barbara.
I opted for a complete day of pottery with Chris. Obviously very experienced in running courses, he began with the necessary health and safety briefing. After a short demonstration, it was straight into throwing pots, which was just great. He gave just the right balance of advice and intervention and I completed numerous examples refining the shapes and gaining confidence during the morning. There was a chance to reflect over lunch and a much-needed coffee break. The afternoon was spent finalising each pot and decorating with liquid slip.
I found the whole day both therapeutic and incredibly rewarding.
I'm looking forward to seeing the finished products. Very much recommended. Mike
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Thank you so much to you both for leaving such a comprehensive and glowing review! Very much appreciated - we'll be in touch as soon as your pieces are finished. Sarah & Chris
My daughter has recently picked up the beautiful pieces of glass art work she created after a full morning session spent with Sarah. She is especially delighted with her main piece and is hopeful she will be able to include this in her Art GCSE portfolio next year. Sarah explained everything clearly and there were opportunities to practice certain techniques so that my daughter was able to create her piece entirely independently. Thank you Sarah for a lovely morning and a great introduction into the world of glass fusing!
Whilst I didn’t actually produce anything I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the process and looking at all of Sarah’s beautiful creations. I am now also the proud owner of two of her gorgeous jewellery pieces!!
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Em should be rightly proud of her main piece! She listened and had practice at the different techniques. A pleasure to teach her and hope she does really well in her exams next year.
My husband booked 2 x 4 hour courses with Sarah on glass fusing as a Christmas present. I found that Sarah had a lot of knowledge and experience working with glass and was happy to share this with me. She helped and encouraged me to experiment with different kinds of glass and advised me on different techniques that can be used.
It was a very interesting course and found that by taking it in two sessions with a few days between was very beneficial. It gave me time to think about my experience between the course days and to see on my return my finished items after firing. From this I could improve my technique and achieve a higher standard and quality of product.
Thank you Sarah for your time and patience it was a very interesting and enjoyable course. I would like to recommend this course to all ages and I can imagine great for a family.
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:A fabulous review - thank you very much! It is always interesting to be able to spend more time with learners in order to try out different techniques and give a more in-depth experience. Also lovely to chat to interesting 'students'! Thanks very much, Sarah
I loved the glass fusing workshop I did with Sarah. She explained clearly what to do, showed me lots of possible techniques to use and encouraged me to be creative. I'm delighted with the pieces I made.
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:You created some fabulous pieces - so pleased you enjoyed it too! Thanks very much for taking the time to review!
I have truly enjoyed my 1-2-1 class with Sarah. Learning about various techniques of fusing glass and seeing the examples made by Sarah was fantastic. I felt very inspired and will look to book another session soon. Thank you Sarah
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Lovely to hear! Your pieces are cooking in the kiln - looking forward to giving them to you! Thanks very much
My daughter and I had a fabulous evening with Sarah this week and it was lovely to see her be able to offer her classes again.
She carefully explained the measures she is taking to keep her students, and herself safe, which was very reassuring.
The evening was a wonderful escape from the hum-drum of ‘normal’ life and, with Sarah’s patience and knowledge, we both felt we learned a great deal and produced items to be proud of.
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:It feels so good to be back taking classes again! Thank you so much for sharing that you felt comfortable with my precautions and that it didn't dampen the enjoyment if the experience at all! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I'll let you know when you pieces are ready! Sarah
Wonderful morning spent with Sarah. We were greeted with coffee and then went to her warm workshop where she explained various techniques to us. We then had freedom to create, using either our own designs or copying some of her beautiful pieces which were on show. Lovely relaxed environment - pure pleasure. I was thrilled to complete 5 small pieces.
Thanks so much Sarah.
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Thanks so much for leaving a review - so pleased you enjoyed the class! Thanks Sarah
I had a fabulous 1:1 session with Sarah. I knew what I wanted to make and Sarah helped me create it. Thank you for your time, patience and generosity sharing your knowlege and supplies. Would highly recommend it.
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. Hope you are all keeping well!
Wonderful experience buying jewellery from Sarah. The ring and wine markers I bought are beautiful, unique and great quality! Amazing service and I will definitely be buying more soon!
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Thank you so much! I'm sure you'll love the jewellery you made in the class too!
I had such a lovely experience making glass designs. Sarah was great at explaining the fascinating techniques and helping make something special. I found it relaxing and therapeutic and I will definitely go again! I’m also buying the experience for friends and family to enjoy too as I know they will love it. Thanks for such a great day!
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Being creative uses a different part of our brains and can be a very therapeutic break from our normally busy lives. So pleased you enjoyed it! Thanks Sarah
We had a brilliant time at Sarah's class - the explanations of how to create each item were so clear and it was fascinating learning about the different techniques. So many colours and materials to choose from! A great experience which I would recommend to anyone.
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:So pleased you enjoyed the class - a great creative session for the 3 of you! Will let you know when your pieces are finished and jewellery fixings done. Many thanks for the lovely review!
Highly recommended! Gave my daughter a voucher for a glass fusion workshop for 2 for her birthday and luckily for me she asked me to go with her. Neither of us had ever worked with glass before and Sarah was very patient and helpful, allowing us to make 3-4 pieces each which we are delighted with. A lovely experience all round.
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:So pleased you both enjoyed the experience - great fun to do together! Many thanks for taking the time to review.
I had a 1-2-1 taster session with Sarah and thoroughly enjoyed it. After an introduction on how the process worked, and the materials that were available it was time to have a go. Having done a few craft classes of various sorts, it was so nice that Sarah was there if you needed her, but was very hands-off and lets you make your own design and material decisions. I kept my designs fairly simple so was able to complete 5 pieces in my two hour session. I picked them up a few days later after they had been in the kiln and was really pleased with the results. Its nice to have things I will use, and several friends have now expressed interest in having a go, having seen my pieces. I would love to do another session, and would definitely recommend it, even if you dont think you're very artistic!
Response from Sarah Greening Glass:Thank you for this great review Wendy - I look forward to a return visit perhaps!
Excellent session in relaxed, friendly and warm environment. Put my friend and I immediately at ease and showed patience and kindness throughout as she guided us expertly through the process. A fun and unique experience!
I attended Sarah’s glass fusion workshop with my mum, sister and daughter and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Sarah was very patient and clear with her instructions. Sarah is very talented and with her help and guidance we all managed to create 4 beautiful pieces each in our morning session. Collection of our finished items was just a couple of days later. I really recommend this workshop. We had such a lovely Saturday morning being creative. Thank you Sarah.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 1:1 fused glass with Sarah. She was very well prepared for the session and very clear in her explanation and instruction. I also appreciated that she was "hands off" allowing me to play and create my own pieces rather than making me follow a pre-determined template. I was pleasantly surprised by how many pieces I was allowed to make in a 4 hour class. It was really interesting to learn some of the chemistry behind the process. Excellent value for money and very enjoyable. Hope to have another go soon.
I had done a little glass work previously and was delighted that Sarah was able to take me up to another level and answer all of my questions. She was totally flexible with the lesson which suited me perfectly. Could not have been better!
Attended a class on a weekend, where I did a 1 on 1 session with Sarah.
She was a great instructor, gave me loads of advice for the pieces I was attempting to create and there were a lot of available examples to inspire creativity. There were a lot more creative options than I expected and the class was great fun!
Have recommended this class to friends and family, well worth the price!!!
Went with my Mum as our Birthday gifts to each other! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and learned so much. We could happily have stayed all day and 'played' as the possibilities are endless. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to try something different regardless of whether you feel you are creative or not. I'm hooked!!! Thank you Sarah.
We would highly recommend the glass fusing taster lesson with Sarah.
Sarah is friendly and very informative and explained all the various processes. There is a large range of materials to choose from and we were very pleased with our 4 different items that we both made.
Thank you Sarah for a brilliant afternoon.
Val and Bob
A thoroughly absorbing and enjoyable experience. Sarah takes the time to explain everything very well and the relaxed atmosphere she creates will bring out the artistic side that you never knew you had!
I thoroughly enjoyed my first two hour session making a pendant, a Christmas decoration and a sun catcher and was delighted with the result. I was more confident with a second session and had more of a plan of what I wanted to do. Sarah was so helpful and accommodating without "taking over". I made a larger sun catcher which sits beautifully in a small round window and some more Christmas decorations which are so simple to do and very effective. I would heartily recommend this course to anyone - it is great fun!
My sister, her daughter and granddaughter were visiting Worcester for the week so we teamed up with my daughter too and booked the pottery & glass workshop day. This is the first time we had all done anything like this and our ages varied from 56 down to 11. We couldn't have booked a more suitable and fabulous day for us all!! We all thoroughly enjoyed both the glass making and the pottery. We particularly enjoyed the lunch too! Wow! Delicious! One of our party is gluten free and Sarah and Chris were happy to accommodate this.
I can seriously recommend this day for anyone who wants to try something new. I'm collecting our creations this week and very excited to see how they all turned out.
Thank you Chris and Sarah for your patience and talents. Well worth the money.
My friend and I has a really enjoyable morning with Sarah learning all about glass fusion. Would totally recommend this course and Sarah allows you great freedom to design all your own pieces with a variety of materials and previous pictures to choose from.
So looking forward to going again and making some more lovely pieces.
I bought this for my wife’s birthday and she was so thrilled with it. We both went and had 2 hrs of really interesting introduction to glass fusion techniques and came away with a number of beautiful coasters/stirrers/wall plaques.
Enjoyed it so much that I may even buy my own kiln!
I did a half-day session with a friend and wished it could go on for a week! It was quite a meditative experience for me, wonderful to be able to focus on the task, yet with Sarah’s lovely supportive company and expertise on hand. Highly recommended.
There were five of us on the one day pottery and glass course. We split into two groups: my sister-in-law and I spent the morning with Sarah, who introduced us to the art of glass fusing, whilst the others tried their hand at the potter’s wheel with Chris.
We broke the day with Sarah’s delicious homemade lunch then swapped workshops in the afternoon.
Despite the fact we were all novices, we were thrilled with our creations and came away with an array of goodies from decorated pots to Christmas tree decorations, and lots more besides. The sessions were well-organised, informative and good fun. Chris and Sarah’s expertise and enthusiasm for their work was clear. I highly recommend both workshops to anyone who would like to try a new skill, develop existing skills further or simply recharge their batteries by doing something mindful and completely different. I can’t wait to come back ...
My third visit and my daughter’s second. Thoroughly enjoyed our time and can’t wait to collect our finished pieces. Lovely relaxing afternoon. Thank you Sarah x
My friend and I had a lovely time learning a new craft in a relaxed atmosphere and with very informative expert. Would not hesitate to recommend this course in future.
My children bought me this course for my 60th birthday. Wasn't sure what to expect so turned up with no expectations. I thoroughly enjoyed the course. Sarah took time to find out what I wanted to achieve, explain the processes I would need and demonstrate them. We had a joint interest in the Worcester Warriors and so I chose to make a coaster, cuff links etc around this theme. Sarah's relaxed approach was just what was needed. Her use of the microwave showed that it would be possible to make many items without a heavy investment in a kiln thus making it possible for people to try the hobby without a big outlay.
I thoroughly recommend the course for anyone looking for a new hobby.
My friend and I joined one of Sarah's workshops this morning and we absolutely loved it. We had both done a couple of fusing classes previously and wanted to do more. Sarah's class was no disappointment. We did so much in the time and people who had done nothing produced beautiful pieces. I can't wait to see my fired work. She is someone who loves what she does and it shows. I will be going back as I want to try more jewellery work. I will also be going to her husband, Chris who is a potter. Friendly, welcoming and inspiring. Thank you!
Really enjoyed the course - amazing how much you can learn in a short period! the finished pieces looked great and Sarah was really supportive and helpful - also great lunch :-)
Wow - I went yesterday, it was such fun. We made so much, now I didn't think I was artistic, but the freedom and possibilities were endless. There is definitely something for everyone. If your thinking about it - do it - you wont be disappointed.
Thank you so much Sarah, for a wonderful afternoon in your gorgeous (and warm!) studio. I am not creative at all, and I was so surprised at how easy, with Sarah's help, it was to make a couple of decorations and a piece of jewellery. I had so much fun and really enjoyed myself. Sarah is an excellent teacher, and has a wide range of materials to use. I will definitely be booking in again soon for another session!
Glass Fusing - Fun, Creative and Excellent Value
A warm welcome was given to Heather and myself as we slightly nervously entered Sarah 's Studio .
The organisation and availability of materials were impressive. We were taught well and give freedom to make a piece of jewellery . I thoroughly enjoyed making my Snowman Decoration and will think fondly of the course when I use my pretty cocktail stirrer in my gin!
I valued being in a relaxing and creative environment. I learnt about the crafting skills needed and I valued the way we were led through the two hours
Thank you and good luck for Sarah's next exhibition .
I unreservedly recommend Sarah's class.
I had an fantastic time on this course; Sarah showed me several techniques and finished products as inspiration then let me get creating using the wide variety of materials she had. I managed to finish a few pieces, which Sarah helped me to perfect, and I can't wait to see how they look after being fired in the kiln! I would highly recommend this course to anyone - either complete beginner or early learner. You will love it!
I booked a 2 hour Taster Lesson on a one to one basis with Sarah on the spur of the moment. Sarah was so welcoming and put me at ease immediately. I was apprehensive about glass cutting, but I need not have worried, I actually only cut glass twice during the lesson and that was only to see if I could! There are so many different forms of glass not to mention colours to use I was spoilt for choice!
Sarah explained the process extremely well and I made my first pendant which went in the microwave kiln! Brilliant as you get to see the results before leaving the two hour lesson, although it does need to continue cooling and Sarah attaches a bale to complete the pendant for your collection or packaging and posting to you.
I became quite creative! I had plenty of time to make two suncatchers and two pendants in my taster. I would recommend the lesson to anyone who is either not sure if they will enjoy it or perhaps is unsure of being able to do it. Sarah is very knowledgeable and a very good communicator which results in a very enjoyable and creative atmosphere.
I cannot wait to collect my pieces and have another go! Watch out...it is addictive! I'm thinking of getting a kiln now!
Sarah's course was like the alchemy of her glasswork; simple, brilliant and fun! Her attention to detail, kindness and generosity with her time and knowledge made the course such a wonderful experience. With Sarah's guidance it seems I'm quite creative. Who knew!! Cannot wait to see how everything else turns out and look forward to the next course in August! Thank you very much. Nicki x
Really enjoyed my starter lesson, which was a gift from the husband. Sarah was very friendly and welcoming, and the studio was lovely to work in. Lots of different materials to use, and Sarah described everything really well. I'd more than happily go back again and have another go, to try out different ideas. Looking forward to seeing my finished pieces!
A fairly heavy layer of overnight snow tried to dampen (and chill) our spirits, but we were greeted with a steaming hot cup of tea/coffee and a warm workshop, so we were not deterred.
Sarah was great at making us feel welcome and we were soon busy learning how to cut glass. Before we knew it we had made a simple pendant, and were even able to see it being fired in a mini-microwave kiln. It was good to be encouraged to take before and after photos (so do have your camera ready) as it is lovely to see the transformation from fairly rough cut glass to a smooth, finished piece.
We then set about making a sun-catcher. There were plenty of different resources to use, not just glass, so we had a good range of colours and items to be able to blend into our pieces. The atmosphere was relaxed and encouraging. Sarah was good at guiding whilst encouraging us to do what we wanted - not what she thought we should do. This must be a fine balance and I think she did this well. The two hours flew by.
Within a couple of days we were able to pick up our pieces at a time convenient to us.
I would thoroughly recommend this course to those who are novices to those who have dabbled a little too. Thank you Sarah
The 'Glass Fusing' Course was a surprise birthday gift and what a wonderful surprise it was too! The two hours seemed to go quickly. I have never experienced glass fusing yet I found the course both interesting and enjoyable, different to other experiences I have had such as sewing and painting. The instructor was very knowledgeable, amenable and helpful, her explanations were clear.
A very creative course: I had a great feeling of achievement by making a coaster, a pendant and for extra fun - a cocktail twirler!!
Lovely items on display to inspire and give you ideas to further boost your creativity.
I would recommend this course.
Sarah is a great teacher, allowing free reign of her amazing workshop to use a wide range of materials to make a number of glass items.
The two hours went really quickly and I came away with creations that I can put on show.
Brilliant value and highly recommended
I was bought this taster session by my brother and sister in law for Christmas . What a great idea. Never done anything like this before . I went with my bestie and we had Sarah's undivided attention as she taught us how to make our own jewellery and glass items. She explained about all the different types of glass and how to use them. Thoroughly enjoyed it , its quite tricky at first but very creative. The pieces came out really well . I made a pendant, a bracelet and a beach scene to hang in the window. Hayley made a ring, a pendant and glass to hang up in the window. Great fun and would definitely recommend her class. A fun way to try something different.
I went along with a friend to the taster lesson. This was my first experience of glass fusing and has been a fun start.
Sarah began the session with an introduction to the basic glass cutting tools and techniques. Then she demonstrated layering to make a simple piece of jewelry. Whey my pendant was being fired in the microwave kiln, she explained different fusing materials and their unique effects.
I'm pleased with what I could achieve in 2 hour. Meanwhile I'm fascinated by the broad subject of glass fusing. I've managed to use 2 fusing materials for my sun catcher; I'd love to see my friend's which used materials different from mine. Since the course, I try to learn about from a couple of websites and I'm considering of taking more sessions to try out different fusing materials.
