Description

In this class you will learn how to use fibre paper to 'kiln carve' a design into a piece of glass. Kiln carving is a technique using fibre paper to create a design. The design is then applied to a piece of glass and in the kiln it will take the form of your design. Your piece will be fired and can be shaped into a bowl or left flat as a wall hanging. I am teaching a variety of classes that are suitable for beginners and those with some experience. In a 2-hour session you will learn new skills and create an attractive unique items that you will be able to collect once they have been fired. Whilst I have detailed a theme for each class, they can be customised. So, if you have a particular item you want to create, favourite colours you want to use, or a particular style, these can be accommodated.
