About the Course
Enjoy a fun, friendly and informative weekend glass course; focusing on fusing and slumping techniques in a contemporary studio setting with lots of natural light to work. This course is suitable for beginners or anyone who wants to develop their basic glass skills.
The A H Contemporary Glass studio is located in the heart of Earlsdon in Coventry; close to the City Centre and Coventry train station.
There will be a group of up to 4 people over the two days; keeping the group to these small numbers will ensure that you are given Adam’s personal attention and space to create. You will mostly work with ‘Bullseye’ glass products, the best and most reliable fusing glass on the market. The course will give you time to practice cutting glass and experiment with glass sheets, frits, powders and stringers, plus other materials. You will create some smaller pieces and then one final larger piece, which will be fused and slumped into a bowl or plate.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
Tea, coffee and biscuits.
Basic materials, extra and specialised materials at an extra cost.
Please bring your own lunch, we have a fridge and microwave in the studio.
I really enjoyed this course. Adam is a great teacher and explains all the processes so well. He covered lots of techniques in the two days and supported me every step of the way with my glass work which is now pride of place in my kitchen. Would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to get creative and learn about glass in a relaxed, fun environment with a consummate professional as your tutor.

We had a great time trying out many different methods of glass work. Adam was very helpful in suggesting ideas and worked with the pace that we set. The perfect gift experience for someone creative.

This was a great two days! Made a few pieces of glasswork and had a lovely time with lovely people!
Adam was great. He helped guide you, and if you already had a vision came up with ways of achieving it.
Am hoping he offered another course for people with some experience but no materials and equipment!
