Description

If you want to get started making your own unique fused glass art, this is the class for you. You will achieve a basic understanding of glass fusing, and consider the design process, experimenting with colour, textures and shape to create distinctive pieces. We will work creatively with the tack fusing process. This is a great introduction to cutting and shaping glass, and using glass pieces to form an exciting relief image or pattern. The choice to make:
2 plaques, 2 hangings (10cm), or 4 pendants. All tools, materials and firing is included for £33, whilst the finished piece is posted to you for £2-£3, or collect at Leyland usually within 1 week. Suitable for all levels from age 16+.

The venue is at Leyland Studio in Central Leyland and there are some free parking spaces available nearby.

Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 4 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

What's included in the price?

All tools, materials and glass firing is included in the booking price. It's recommended to collect the finished art after firing as it is very delicate. However it can be posted to you, usually within 1 week.
