About the Course

This Taster Day will give you the opportunity to explore this traditional craft. Carole will teach you the traditional stained glass techniques to make a 20cm square panel or a 29cm square mirror to take home. This is a practical course and you learn the basic construction processes of cutting glass, putting a panel together, using the Tiffany Copper foiling technique developed in the Tiffany Studios in the 1890’s.

No previous experience is necessary.

There will be a choice of simple, non-representational, designs & packs of glass provided by the tutor as well as all the other materials needed to create your stained glass piece. Due to time constraints, students will not be able to design their own patterns. All the tools and materials required for the course will be supplied. Please bring an apron or overall and wear sturdy shoes.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
