Come and join me in the glorious Worcestershire countryside and learn about the art of stained glass. There are a couple of ways to get the look, one is the 'Tiffany' method which uses copper foil and solder, the other is the traditional way of using lead and solder and we offer both! Either method is suitable for beginners as you will be shown how to cut and grind the glass to fit your pattern, we will then copper foil or leadwork your piece before finally soldering everything in place for you to take home.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
All materials are included along with lunch and refreshments.

Did a day’s course in stained glass and I loved it, even got to go home with an impressive panel to show the family. Vicky and Vic are great teachers, explaining all the theory to a complete novice in a non patronising way and making the whole day great fun.
In the morning we chose a pattern and then selected glass from a massive choice, learnt how to cut the glass and then I was away cutting the shapes I needed. A lovely lunch was provided in Vicky’s fascinating garden and after it was time to lead and solder the pieces of glass together. Vic is an expert at stained glass and was full of help, advice and encouragement.
It was a really lovely day which I will repeat again. Thank you guys!

Hi MelI did the copper foiling course led by Vicky and Vic. I had a fabulous day, making a feather and a heart to hang in the garden ( yes they are garden proof!). I learnt loads, met friends old and new, and had so many laughs. Vicky and Vic were sooooo helpful at showing us what to do, but importantly doing most of it ourselves. We were offered endless drinks and a delicious hot and cold lunch in the Orangery, where we chatted and it was really sociable. There was a generous amount of glass to choose from some were beautifully iridescent.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this course to people who are used to working with glass or beginners... there is so much help on hand. I’m looking forward to doing more copper foiling work. Thank you to both Vicky and Vic

Hi Leona, thank you for this and good to hear that you enjoyed the day. The feather will certainly look lovely in your garden and hopefully we'll see you again so you can do a companion piece.I have just got back home from an absolutely amazing day with Vicky and Vic who taught us how to make beautiful stained glass hanging pieces using lead from start to finish. The tuition was excellent, clear and concise, packed with really good health and safety tips presented in a totally non patronising way. The course was fun and totally stress free which in turn allowed us to cut the glass confidently and build the frame without feeling too fraught!
We broke off for an amazing lunch in Vicky's beautiful home which was a work of a work of art in itself. I would have been happy with a sandwich and a cuppa but instead we were provided with the most amazing and delicious spread of lovely food plus gorgeous chocolate cake.
The afternoon was packed with incredible tuition and we were carefully guided how to build up our design and meticulously taught how to solder (which I was dreading!). Vic kindly fitted some hanging rings on for us so we could take our creations home and display them. I will be buzzing for ages after this wonderful course and I can't wait to visit Vicky's beautiful studio and also return for the glass fusing and copper foiling courses.
Thank you so much for a most enjoyable and memorable day and for giving me the confidence to have a go at this most beautiful of skills. Highly recommended and I will be telling all my friends. Can't wait for the next one. A very, very happy customer indeed.

Henri - ah shucks, you're making me blush! Glad you enjoyed the day, I'm never sure who enjoys it more - the students or us! As and when you are ready we'll be here. Thanks Vicky
