We will begin with a brief description of what glass fusing is, the types of glass in the studio, tools you will be using and design options available to you. Health and Safety in the studio will be covered.
After the demonstration of how to safely cut the glass you will start to make your own fused glass artwork, this could either be pendants or earrings, or a small picture or a coaster. You will be able to choose from the large selection of coloured glass, stringers, confetti, frit and millefiore. You will create several items of jewellery, and depending on sizes, perhaps two coasters or pictures, which will be posted to you after they have been kiln fired.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Use of tools and all materials are included, your work will be posted to toe when it has been fired.
Refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits are not available currently so please ensure to bring your own drink with you.

I did this course with my daugther. The venue was relaxed and comfortable. Teresa gave clear instructions and ensured our safety.
She gave us a free hand in the choice of materials and a free hand to be creative but was on hand with support or inspiration if needed. It was a great experience that allowed us to socialise whilst learning a new skill.
The materials available allowed for lots of scope and I was very pleased with the item I was able to create.
