Mildred Till reviewed: Cancelled

"I very much enjoyed the workshop. It has given me confidence as it made me realize that everyone has his/her own style and there is no such thing as good or bad. Shirley is good at showing you little techniques and explained how you can use acrylics in different ways (wet/dry etc). She answers all the questions with patience and is a lovely host."

Mary Scanlon reviewed: PickOne weekend weaving course

"Loved this course, there is so much to learn. When you get weaving, it all seems to fall into place. James is inspiring and thoroughly deserves the awards he has recently received for weaving. Anyone with an interest in craft work just has to get into the ancient art of weaving with wonderful, colourful wools. Thank you James for all your patience and perseverance."

"Pam gave a very detailed explanation of the procedure. She provided back up materials to ensure everybody had all the resources required to create a good quality piece art. Pam was on hand to make suggestions and give help when needed. She brought the team together during, and, at the end of the session to share views and appreciate each others work. I would recommend this course. A very enjoyable day."

Mick Bacon reviewed: Two day leather bag making workshop

"What a great present, my wife bought me this course to give me some experience and confidence in sewing with leather. The two days covered a lot of different techniques, all excellently explained and demonstrated by Rosanna, in a good environment. I would highly recommend this course for someone looking to take up bag making, or leatherwork requiring stitching, or zips. I would certainly look to do another course with Rosanna, which I look forward to. Thanks for a great two days Rosanna."

"This was a great course, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was quite nervous to begin with as had never done mosaics before and wasn't sure if I would struggle especially with cutting glass! Sue Swan reviewed: Fused Glass Jewellery Workshop

"I did this course with my daugther. The venue was relaxed and comfortable. Teresa gave clear instructions and ensured our safety. She gave us a free hand in the choice of materials and a free hand to be creative but was on hand with support or inspiration if needed. It was a great experience that allowed us to socialise whilst learning a new skill. The materials available allowed for lots of scope and I was very pleased with the item I was able to create."

Emily Cunningham reviewed: One day Mosaic workshop Moon Hare Studio, Devon

"A brilliant introduction to mosaicing (is that a verb?) from Adela. She's warm, friendly, informative and encouraging. You can bring your own design to work from or choose one of hers, making it stress-free and enjoyable. The walls are covered in her amazing mosaics but somehow that was inspiring not intimidating. Me and my daughter left feeling very happy with our day's work."

Andrew Middleton reviewed: Learn to carve wooden spoons, beginners and improvers

"This course, and of course Dave, provided a very good introduction to the skill of spoon carving. For me it was especially useful to get hands on with the four basic tools and to experience their use. The pace was very good and we all ended up with useful items, the spreader has already been in use. Highly recommended."

Peter Charles Medawar reviewed: French Polishing & Woodcare - Beginners Course - 1 Day

"At the time of writing, Oliver's course had received 45 reviews - of which 44 were five-star and one (from a well satisfied student) four star. I've never seen any teacher/course rated that highly but, having done a one-day course, in March 2020, i can easily see why. These ratings are completely deserved: Ollie is a master craftsman and also a brilliant teacher: he's painstaking, patient, approachable, and generous with his time. And his course is well worked out and comes with very useful course notes: I'm so glad I went and I came away with more understanding than I could reasonably have hoped for. Very many thanks."

Anelyne reviewed: Make your own natural beauty products

"I really enjoyed my session with Lucie ! I was able to make my own cleansing lotion with all natural products. Lucie guided me through the course and gave me sound advice to choose the suitable ingredients for my skin. I've been using my cleansing lotion for a week now, and I'm so happy with it. Nice to apply on the skin, effective at removing makeup and it smells so good... It is a great satisfaction ! I'll try the other courses she offers. I'd love to make my own deodorant ! Thanks again, Lucie !"
