What a fantastic two day course!
RIght from the word go, I was totally absorbed in the world of bag making.
Roseanna was so knowledgeable, organised, approachable, explained skills and how to use the equipment clearly, you had space to think for yourself and time to work at your own pace; an excellent teacher.
Friends and family were seriously impressed with the end result.
I would highly recommend this course.

I had an excellent two days with Rosanna, designing and making my own bag. Rosanna is very knowledgeable and patient and a great teacher.
I am very pleased with my finished result and even had enough time left to learn hand stitching and make a small purse.
I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to make something bespoke and hope that I will be back again someday to try something else.
Thank you so much Rosanna!

I contacted Rosanna about helping me construct a pattern and teach me the skills needed to sew a heavy duty canvas and leather tote bag.
Having never used a sewing machine before I was a bit apprehensive of whether or not I'd be able to produce a good product, Rosanna was such a good teacher, I never felt out of my depth. Everything was explained very well, and when the bag started coming together I was so happy with how it turned out!
I have come away from the course with much more confidence about making these bags in the future. After we finished the bag we had some time remaining so Rosanna helped me hand tool a leather notebook holder and knife sheath. Hand tooling leather wasn't something I was originally interested in but after learning the skills I now have some products I can make using scraps of leather I have left over!
I am so chuffed to bits with what I've gained from the course and it was certainly worth every penny!

For anyone considering taking the 2 day bag making course I would definitely recommend it! I enjoy learning new skills whenever possible, I have been on many courses for a variety of experiences, but this course has made my top 3 due to being such a personalised experience. From the start, the syllabus was not only about how to construct a bag, but focused on how to bring to life something from my imagination, with the strategical knowledge and enlightenment of a professional who could think around potential pitfalls and be creatively involved with me. I think this approach is extremely successful as by joining in & discussing all options with Rosanna, I was able to better understand the mechanics of making a bag. Not only do I feel confident enough to practice a project by myself, I feel confident to make other items that we didn't create, purely because I was taught me more than just a baseline template, Rosanna taught me the intelligence behind the shapes and the development sequence.
Thank you Rosanna for a lovely weekend :-)

Great fun to do the course, and I regularly use the items created in the first day. Having finished the second day today after a long delay was surprised how much I remembered and it's no doubt due to Rosanna's great teaching. Looking forward to continuing this as a hobby. Highly recommended for anybody looking to have a fun two days of something different. Lunch on both days was lovely, with Rosanna's mother and father who were just as delightful, welcoming, friendly and a pleasure to meet and spend time with A's Rosanna herself.

Had a brilliant 2 days with Rosanna!
Rosanna made me feel at ease immediately, she explained things clearly and nothing was too much trouble. I learned loads, lunch was fab both days, company was great and at the end of it, I walked away with a lovely bag, that I now know how to make! It doesn't get better than that.
Thanks Rosanna xx

Brilliant day. Arrived feeling as though my chosen bag design might be a little ambitious but Rosanna helped me get stuck in quickly and we were making within the first hour! The time flew by so quickly.
Rosanna is a great teacher with lots of patience - especially if you're a little indecisive like myself!
It was a really inspiring experience and I'd be keen to go back to try out some different designs and techniques at a later date.

Wow what a fantastic course. I have learnt new skills which I feel cofident to use at home and will continue to work with leather. Rosanna is a brilliant tutor pacing the class to the students needs, every question was answered and Rosanna was happy to share her skills and knowledge.
I went to this course with slight trepidation, as I had not sewn leather before, I left with a bespoke bag professionly finished which I am really proud of.
Thank you Rosanna for giving me the skills and confidence to start a new hobby.
The lunch was excellent too, thanks to Rosannas Mum!

I had a wonderful two day course with Rosanna, designing and then creating my very own bespoke bag.
Rosanna gives you the freedom to do what you want, design wise - and if you cannot do it (such as the leather is too thick) she will explain why.
A talented, patient teacher who gives you as much or as little help as you need.
My bag is absolutely fantastic, a one off, in the most beautiful leather with all my personal touches.
I am going back to do a half day wallet making course in the Summer!
Thank you Rosanna!

This was a two day class, I had complete choice of the type of bag I wanted to make. Rosanna set about sketching a bag telling me all the different options I could try, once agreed I helped make my patten.
The bag was made out of a leather jacket I picked up cheaply in a lovely burgundy colour. Rosanna suggested adding a contrast leather and a lining.
End of day two and I'm the proud owner of a super fab, one off leather bag and I love it!!
Rosanna is a gifted teacher and so patient, she really wants you to go home with something wonderful, that you love. Thank you for two brilliant days.

We spent two very enjoyable days with Rosanna during the summer, in a lovely setting with delicious food, learning new skills and making our bags. Rosanna helped us develop our ideas before we even started and then guided us through the different stages of construction, teaching us new skills along the way. We both had such fun that we are already planning our next projects and will be in touch with Rosanna to help us with these.

Fantastic 2 day workshop. Rosanna is a brilliant tutor with outstanding skills. All my friends comment on the professional finish of my wonderful bag. I am going to be very busy as I have been given a number of commissions. I will continue with further workshops and highly recommend you all to have a go.
Thank You Rosanna, really looking forward to my next workshop.
