Really good explanation of what we were going to do, then I started and with her guidance , by the end of the day had a beautiful clutch bag to go with a wedding outfit. Her husband made some delicious flapjacks which we enjoyed with coffee on our arrival and introduction to wet felting. Cathy left us felting for a bit while she produced an amazing lunch set in her beautiful garden! We made a lovely wet felted bag, had some real belly laughs, in a gorgeous setting. "My Mum and I spent a simply wonderful day with Cathy at her studio. She and her family have created an idyllic, welcoming space for a wide range of crafts and activities. We tried our hands at wet felting which was great fun. We were delighted with the bags we created and got a good workout into the bargain! Although while it is quite an energetic activity it wasn’t too much, you don’t have to be super fit to enjoy it. Cathy cooked a delicious cake to welcome us and a superb lunch, and her family made us very welcome indeed. We are already looking forward to returning for another session!"

"My daughter and I spent a fabulous day with Cathy learning to 'wet felt' We each took home a highly individual bowl/pod made from Cathy's bountiful and very beautiful supply of Merino wool and silk in a myriad of wonderful colours ! We would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone interested in spending a very stimulating, creative, hands on day, eating wonderful cake with a warm and friendly tutor in a delightful setting - all in all a wonderful day - which I would love to repeat, when I have earnt myself another 'treat day' ! ? ❤️ to Cathy."

"I've just done a course at Tan yard studio with Cathy and am now the proud owner of a pair of lovely warm multicoloured felt slippers. I am not a very 'crafty' person at all, so my pride at having made something so beautiful and useful is palpable! The location is beautiful and I had a great time with two others in the converted barn with the log burner on and lots of coffee and cake. The vegetarian lunch was delicious and all home made. Highly recommended for a great day out."
