Learn to make your own beautiful felt bag on this one day course!
You will be shown how different styles of bags are made. How to add handles, flaps or a pocket, and to design the pattern, then helped to make a bag to your own design.
You can never have too many bags!
Felt is one of the earliest fabrics to be made, occurring throughout the world, and used extensively for everything from hats to tents. It is simple and therapeutic to make, using easily obtainable equipment and materials, and offers the possibility of fantastic results.
I have been making, and teaching felt making for many years now, and have developed this range of courses to cover basic felt making techniques, to produce a finished item during the day, and to encourage further experimentation ( and of course have lots of fun)!
You will be given notes on what we have covered, to remind you when you decide to have another go!
