One day leather bag making workshop

Description

Come along and make a complete leather bag in one day! On the course you will learn about different types of leather and how to select the right type for the right type of bag. Choose from either a tote bag or fold over clutch bag design. You will also learn how to insert a lining, create an internal, zipped pocket as well as how to make and attach handles.  If time allows, you may also emboss your initials onto the bag for that personal touch! Please contact me when booking to discuss your requirements. If you have a leather garment or jacket you would like to upcycle then let me know.  Maximum 3 people at my Essex studio Class starts at 10am, finishes at 5pm with 45 min lunch break. As my classes are very small I can usually be pretty flexible with dates so please get in touch.

My designs are mainly influenced by geometric shapes and Art Deco design. I've built up a wide range of skills and now have the luxury of time and space to make my own products and to experiment with techniques and styles. Ultimately though, I love passing on my passion for leather craft to other people by running a series of workshops. I cater for both individuals with 1 to 1 tuition and groups at my Surrey studio or larger groups at other venues so email me if you'd like more information.
