Dot Balcombe reviewed: Abstract Architecture: mixed media: Peak District, Derbyshire

"Pam is an excellent tutor and her workshops are delightful. The studio does indeed have a view and is a perfect place for an arty day. In spite of my struggles to get there on time because of snow in my part of the world, I managed to complete the project with Pam's advice on what parts I could skip over. Lunch was delicious too. I have no doubt that I'll be in more Pam Smart workshops in the future."

Pam Smart Studio responded:

"Hi Dot Thank you for taking the time once again to complete a review- it is much appreciated and I’m sure your positive comments will encourage others. I hope to see you again. Best wishes Pam Smart"

Elizabeth Noakes reviewed: Mosaic one day workshop for adults with Caroline Jariwala, Birmingham

"What a wonderful day we had! Thank you Caroline for a lovely day. We learnt valuable tips right from the get-go. New skills, great "cheats" and tips, loads of inspirational ideas. Caroline generously shares and adapts for all skill levels. We met interesting folk, ate scrummy food, revelled in the heavenly mosaic surroundings. Will definitely recommend to everyone - even if that means future bookings are like gold dust."

Sarah reviewed: Feltmaking - OOH the choices!

"Great day with Barbara - making my beautiful Nuno silk and felt scarf. I really did not expect to be able to make something so beautiful - particularly since I was a first time felter. A lovely day with my sister - working together on our projects - I can highly recommend the course - we will be back to do another scarf or maybe have a go at Batik next time, We were really looked after by Barbara - she is so patient and helpful - and makes a lovely vegetable soup! Great value for money - a full day of activity, plus tutoring , plus lunch and a beautiful handmade one-off scarf - fab!"

Feltworld - Creative Arts responded:

"Thank you for the glowing review ?. I had a lovely day sharing my skills with you and Janet. You can be proud to say that you made your unique scarves. I will look forward to teaching you again in the future.... You will enjoy the batik ?. B"

pat Harper reviewed: ColourWheel art classes for adults - Maidenhead - Thursday

"I had been attending an Art class elsewhere but became dis-satisfied with the teaching and the student/teacher inter-action. I made the decision to change to Colourwheel in Maidenhead and have been delighted with it. They care for each individual and make extremely pertinent remarks to each student. There is also a great atmosphere in the class group encouraged and maintained by the staff. The class is one of the highlights of my week!"

"A great course that helps to develop your artistic skills at all levels. Friendly, welcoming and extremely well organised so all you need to do is turn up. Each week there is a new challenge and technique to have a go at with demonstrations and advice from a first class teacher. I have really enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone who has ever wanted to enjoy creating a work of art of their very own!"

Sarah Heaton reviewed: Garden mosaic workshop

"I treated my friend to a mosaic workshop with Lynda, having already attended one myself last summer, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Lynda is friendly and welcoming, and we had a very enjoyable day, taking home with us the skills and info we need to add the finishing touches to our individual projects. If you have not tried mosaicking before, Lynda's workshop is a great way to dip your toe in the water, and if you are like me, you will be keen to return. Thank you Lynda for your help, enthusiasm, patience and encouragement - we had a truly special day"

Creating Mosaics responded:

"It was so lovely to see you again It was a delight to see you produce a "night time" version of your original mosaic. So impressed with your interpretation and use of materials. Well done Sarah. x"

Amy Down reviewed: Linocut printmaking in Cornwall

"Olivia is a cheerful teacher whose passion for her craft comes across when teaching the basics to complete beginners. I loved that she wasn’t too prescriptive nor restrictive in what she thought we could achieve. Her studio was well set up with a welcome log burner and plenty of refreshments. Although the day went too quickly she did not hurry us and allowed us to finish our pieces. I look forward to going again."

Sally Buckley reviewed: ColourWheel art classes for adults - Maidenhead - Thursday

"The art classes are excellent! As a complete beginner, having not produced any art work since 'O' Level, I am amazed by what I have been able to achieve. This is down to the excellent teaching and format of the classes. Working with a different medium each week (most of which I hadn't even heard of before) helps in making each session both interesting and enjoyable. Both Rene and Erica are both so friendly and positive about everyone's work making Thursday afternoons relaxing and fun."

Maria Memoli reviewed: ColourWheel art classes for adults - Maidenhead - Thursday

"This is a fantastic course at superb locations. I started in September 2017 as a "beginner" and I'm still here., I have learned such a lot from both Erica and Inge with Rene being super organised. I've made new friends. Art classes are "me" time that I won't sacrifice for anything. It has given me the confidence to exhibit (and sell) some of my art. However, I come to class to keep learning the techniques and using new media. It's such a joy. A wonderful way to pass a morning a week. I would thoroughly recommend it. It really is worth giving it a try. You'll be hooked."

Andrew Cook reviewed: Silver jewellery earring workshop with WyeMade

"This is the second of Anne's course I've attended and this time I was with my wife and two friends who were visiting for a few days. This was an ideal way to spend a few hours at this time of year when little else is open and when the weather forecast is iffy. We were made to feel very welcome in the cosy and well-equipped workshop. We all made a pendant under Anne's superb instruction. She was invariably patient and good humoured which led to a very pleasant few hours. We all ended up with a great pendant to pass on to different members of our family and our guests were very impressed and appreciative. A big thank you to Anne - I can thoroughly recommend her courses."

WyeMade responded:

"Thank you Andrew."

Paula Harper reviewed: ColourWheel art classes for adults - Maidenhead - Thursday

"Have you ever been told that you can't draw? - then this class is for you! In a super supportive and friendly environment, teachers Erica and Inga will guide you (at your own pace) through the different disciplines of drawing and painting. Each week builds on existing skills whilst introducing new ones, together with exciting new mediums. It's completely hassle free as everything is provided by Rene, including comprehensive class notes. Twelve terms later, I'm still learning new techniques and discovering new mediums. I remain constantly surprised at how a class of 20 or so people with differing abilities can produce such a diverse range of unique art week after week. I genuinely look at the world in a different way - and best of all, I'm no longer that person who "can't do art"."

Janet reviewed: Make a leather phone pouch using veg tan leather

"This is my first leather course I have taken and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am very impressed with Mark, he is an excellent teacher. Mark has no hesitation of sharing his knowledge and skills and he has inspired me to go into leather work. At the end of this course I came home with a beautiful pouch that I made, which I am very proud of. I will definitely attend more of Mark's leather courses."
