I’m really not very creative but always wanted to try my hand at making jewellery. It was such an enjoyable workshop with a highly skilled and patient teacher.
Tracey Beddoes - - #26827
Response from WyeMade:Thank you Tracey I’m looking forward to the next workshop.
Spent a lovely afternoon, with my friends, making earrings. Ann was friendly and relaxed but very knowledgeable and excellent at explaining exactly what needed to be done. The four of us all chose to make very different styles and designs but the results were equally impressive. Thank you Ann.
Alice Burr - - #26307
Response from WyeMade:Thank you Alice, it was a fabulous afternoon and all your earrings look great.
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Ann is a great teacher and an expert with jewellery. My partner and I are already planning our next visit.

Myself and husband have just made stacking rings with Ann who was informative and patient and talked us all the way through the process.Which made it a very enjoyable experience and we came away with our rings. Would highly recommend trying it.

Recently contacted Ann Skehel regarding stone setting and arranged two 1 to 1 training sessions on tube and flush stone setting. Ann was an excellent tutor and I learned a great deal from my workshops! She is patient and knowledgable and I really enjoyed the sessions! I would highly recommend Ann should you be looking for jewellery tuition!
Emma Rust - - #24149
Response from WyeMade:Thank you Emma it was great fun doing a one to one with you.
Well, the smile on our faces once we’d finished said it all; we are absolutely delighted with our earring workshop and what we came away with having made!
Ann’s workshop is a delight to be in and very well stocked with both findings and tools, (not to mention copious hacksaw blades, although we didn’t beat the record number of broken blades!)
Ann was as hospitable as her well equipped and comfortable workshop. Her down to earth manner helped set us at ease even when we thought we had messed up. Her patience is legendary, persisting with soldering (four times) when our work was being tricky, to ensure we were able to complete and were satisfied with our finished pieces.
I cannot thank Ann enough for a joyful afternoon of creation and will proudly wear my bespoke earrings for years (and compliments) to come!
Emma Hayward - - #23309
Response from WyeMade:Thank you Emma your daisy earrings are stunning and well worth getting all the copper ball soldered on even if it took 4 attempts.
We had an amazing time making silver necklaces with Ann. She was brilliant at demonstrating and explaining the techniques clearly so that we were all able to design and create beautiful pieces. I would recommend her to anyone!
Rebecca Smith - - #22989

I had a wonderful day with Ann it was my first introduction to making jewellery! Ann was extremely patient and knowledgeable it was an absolute pleasure to spend the afternoon making my beautiful earrings. I can't recommend Ann enough will definitely book another course!!!
Lisa - - #22987
Response from WyeMade:Thank you Lisa I look forward to the next workshop.
I have attended two of Ann’s silver jewellery courses and have enjoyed them both very much. On both occasions I’ve been amazed and delighted at how much I achieved, with Ann’s expert and patient guidance. The first course was with a small group of friends from WI, when we made either a lovely silver ring or pretty earrings. The second course was a family affair. Three sisters and husbands had a great time making a mixture of jewellery items and we were all delighted with our efforts. It was particularly good for the husbands to realise how much work went into making an item of jewellery, thus justifying the cost of handmade items!
Ann has a wealth of related equipment and enough of each tool for everyone. No time wasted waiting for a tool to use! Ann’s patience and subject knowledge is second to none and I can therefore highly recommend the workshops she offers.
Wendy Cook - - #22986
Response from WyeMade:Thank you Wendy, it was lovely to have an afternoon with your Family. Great fun.
I had a wonderful afternoon with Ann and I made a lovely ring which I wear often. I had never worked with silver before and with Ann's knowledge, instruction, help and patience I was able to create something to be proud of. A thoroughly enjoyable session.
Lorna Dyer - - #22985
Response from WyeMade:Thanks Lorna, your ring was lovely and it was nice to see your still wearing it.
Ann provides expert instruction and guidance in a very friendly informal manner. I went with a small group of friends,as part of a girls day out. We had a whale of a time while making some beautiful earrings that we are proud to wear!! Her new studio is cosy and welcoming-tea and cake were provided! I cannot recommend highly enough- we ourselves will return to make matching necklaces!! As if all that wasn’t enough recommendation, it is really good value for money too!
Helen Johns - - #22984
Response from WyeMade:Thank you Helen, I look forward to the next workshop.
I’d always wanted to learn to make jewellery. I decided to try it out with a one day workshop...... I was amazed at what I achieved, (with the help and guidance of Ann). My friend made earrings and I made a ring!
It inspired me to take a further course, it is now my hobby and I love the creative side. (Plus all my jewellery is bespoke)
Claire Mizen - - #22977
