About the Course
On this day long course you will be taught the stages involved in order to produce an item out of stained glass by the TIFFANY method. Suitable for beginners to enable them to move on to more advance projects. In the day students will learn the techniques involved in the stages and useful tips. The courses run with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 students, ensuring you lots of individual tuition.
There is a wide choice of designs to choose from, if you have a particular theme for your sun-catcher, if given prior notice, I can draw up a suitable achievable beginners design.
Above right are examples of what students can accomplish in the workshop.
LarkinGlassArt also takes commissions on Bespoke leaded stained-glass panels and repairs.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.
What's included in the price?
All materials required to make a sun-catcher, use of equipment, tea and coffee.
It would be useful to bring your own permanent medium tip black marker.
Thank you Roberta for such an enjoyable day. My friend and I are so chuffed with our beautiful glass art pieces and our new skills and knowledge in all that is involved in the Tiffany glass process. You are a very good teacher and a lovely lady. It was an excellent idea of ours to spend one of our precious days holiday under your care, we will remember and treasure the experience always! And thanks for your local recommendations - we had a very enjoyable walk back into beautiful Bangor!
