Follow-on fused glass: one day workshop in Faversham, Kent

These full day workshops last from 10.30-3.15pm on Saturdays and 10am-2.45pm on Sundays, with 45 mins for lunch. The workshops are ideal for those who have never tried glass fusing before or who would like a refresher.

The day starts with an explanation of glass fusing using lots of samples to inspire ideas for your own projects. Attendees go on to learn how to cut glass and the rest of the day is free to make whatever you want within the scope of the materials and time available.

As the tutor, I provide many different forms of support including technical and artistic guidance (if asked) and ideas - whatever you need from me.

I aim to ensure my workshops provide friendly and supportive environments for new students. Everyone is welcome from ages 16+, provided you are able to work relatively independently and have reasonable dexterity. If you wish to bring along a child below 16, please contact Yvonne at CKJ Artisan in advance using the 'Chat with the Maker' button.

Yvonne is an experienced fused glass tutor and artist at Creek Creative Studios in Faversham, Kent. Numbers in each class are kept small for lots of individual attention. Classroom has disabled access (toilets and cafe require walking up a slope or stairs). Blue badge parking available on request.

Please note this is a face-to-face workshop taught in a large room with a ventilation system (no windows). All students will be asked to confirm that they are following governmental guidance on quarantine & safety and will be required to wear masks whenever moving around.

Each bubble with have their own table with 2m and a screen separating the tables. All equipment you need will be on your table or will be brought to you. You are welcome to remove your mask when seated, except when the teacher needs to approach you. The tutor is fully vaccinated and will be wearing a mask or shield and will be the only person to come within 2 metres of you.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask using the 'Chat with the Maker' button.
