"I attended Wendy's macrame wreath course yesterday with my friend and partner. Wendy was ready with all the materials laid out, examples on show to get ideas and plenty of patience when we asked lots of questions. It was a relaxed atmosphere in a nice workshop. We achieved a lot in the 2 hrs, and it was very satisfying having a finished wreath to take home. There are lots of craft items on display which will entice me back for the other courses that Wendy offers."

"Ann taught my 11yr old daughter and I to crochet last week. We were total beginners and she gave us a great introduction to live beyond making a chain. We even managed a granny square! Anna was great at working with me and my daughter, making sure we were both keeping up! Thank you ?"

With a bit of patience and gentle guidance from the very talented Kate I eventually grasped what I needed to do. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and am very proud of my first attempt!! "Lucy’s upholstery course is perfect for anyone wanting to learn skills and revive tired furniture. I had such a great day in her beautiful workshop. I learnt so much and completed my bench to an outstanding finish using simple but effective techniques. Lucy was so calm and encouraging, nothing was too much trouble and she even supplied me with all new stuffing for my bench and lining which made all the difference to my piece. I will certainly be booking again. We even had a bit of colour therapy which was so interesting and made me feel so relaxed and balanced. Absolutely lovely and knowledgeable woman. Was a pleasure to meet her."

"Really enjoyed making my abstract lady ?. Have never tried anything like this before, but Jo's video and printed instructions gave me enough guidance to make my very first piece of sculpture! 'Serene Lady' sits on my window sill and makes me smile whenever I look at her. Great kit with everything you need included. 5 stars!"

"Another visit to Lucy that was full of fun! Drawdown of large lengths of silver wire. So long, I had to leave the studio to continue pulling them through the drawplate. In the afternoon we set up a production line. Lucy prepared the jump rings for me, and then I soldered them, which quickened up the task, and by the end of the day we had finished quite a few. Thank you Lucy."

With no experience and his guidance I came away with the most beautiful pepper mill. I’m so pleased with it. Bill’s workshop was light airy and warm. He served me wonderful fresh coffee and was pleasant to spend the day with. The workshop had all the facilities needed. I just took a packed lunch. It was easy to find and get parked.
