Having initially undertaken Lucy’s Interior Design Course and latterly Lucy’s Upholstery Day I would wholeheartedly encourage anyone to book a course and have a go. Lucy delivers innovative ideas with easy understanding in a calming sensitive setting. Not only do you learn new skills you leave feeling balanced and rejuvenated. Oh and the cakes are very nice too!"

"Myself, brother and sister have just completed an excellent course at Mort’s Firebird Forge. We walked straight into the forge building and chatted with Mort about our individual projects over a cup of tea, had a safety briefing, then walked over to the forge for a quick demonstration of the techniques we would need to get us started. We found ourselves heating metal within the hour! Mort created an entertaining and relaxed environment while guiding us through our respective projects and stepped in, as and when necessary, to ensure our projects were completed in time to take home. I am thrilled with my finished project and have no hesitation in recommend this course. If your giving it some thought, just book it.?"

"My wife and I chose to take 2 half day sessions with Kate (Mark Making & Experimental Painting Techniques) spread over an afternoon and the following morning. The whole experience was brilliant from start to finish. Kate was an inspiring, empathetic, very practical tutor. Speaking as two retired teachers(!), it was clear from the start that she had prepared thoroughly, really knew what she was doing, and even had books of other artists’ work to show us when it seemed that we might be using techniques that were similar to those artists’. We both think Kate is inspirational, friendly, very welcoming, hospitable, aware of our needs, flexible; and also prepared to allow us the freedom to follow what we were doing, without being prescriptive. As someone who has always thought about painting and drawing in a figurative sense, here I was “doing abstract art”! it was wonderful when she said “it doesn’t have to be anything!”. Liberating! Finally, we also absolutely loved all her own work. We keep talking about it! Thank you so much, Kate, we hope to see you again."

"What a fun and unique creative experience I had yesterday! To make something as practical as a beautiful, razor sharp, chef's knife combined with crafting the hardwood handle made for a unique and very enjoyable experience. I have no hesitation in recommending the Kitchen Knife Course course to anyone who is keen to learn a new skill. If you plan to attend in winter I recommend that you wear warm clothes and take a hot drink, food and drinking water. This is a non stop, full on, fascinating day and the knife you produce with Dave's expert guidance will have pride of place in your kitchen."

"I attended this course on 8/11/21 ( I did leave a review but unfortunately it did not process, so this is the second attempt). I had an absolutely fabulous day ( thought there was going to be more than me) but I had Sally's undivided attention on a one to one basis. Sally is such a knowledgeable & patient person, which is what I need as I can be slow to pick things up. I made a lovely standing angel (have had so many positive comments from friend) & am now in the process of turning part of my greenhouse into a workshop to make some more as Christmas presents.
