"I’ve always loved working with wood but never got around to woodturning. My wife bought me this course as a Birthday present and It has to be one of the best presents she has ever bought me. Simon and Louise are friendly and welcoming hosts. Simon is extremely knowledgeable but also has the knack of passing that knowledge on to beginners like me. His facilities are enviable with a large selection of tools and also health and safety facilities like dust extractions. On top of that, he is just good company. I’m sure I will be back in future for an intermediates’ course if he runs one."

"Jenni - thank you so much for the wonderful wreath kit! I used a gift voucher I had been given to buy this kit and what a great gift learning a new skill has turned out to be! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed making both the willow base and creating the wreath, personal to us. We both feel such an amazing sense of achievement at learning the art of wreath making, which we will be able to utilise each year. The YouTube guides which Jenni provides are comprehensive and so easy to follow and she is so friendly and easy to contact. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"I attended Wendy's macrame wreath course yesterday with my friend and partner. Wendy was ready with all the materials laid out, examples on show to get ideas and plenty of patience when we asked lots of questions. It was a relaxed atmosphere in a nice workshop. We achieved a lot in the 2 hrs, and it was very satisfying having a finished wreath to take home. There are lots of craft items on display which will entice me back for the other courses that Wendy offers."

"Lucy’s upholstery course is perfect for anyone wanting to learn skills and revive tired furniture. I had such a great day in her beautiful workshop. I learnt so much and completed my bench to an outstanding finish using simple but effective techniques. Lucy was so calm and encouraging, nothing was too much trouble and she even supplied me with all new stuffing for my bench and lining which made all the difference to my piece. I will certainly be booking again. We even had a bit of colour therapy which was so interesting and made me feel so relaxed and balanced. Absolutely lovely and knowledgeable woman. Was a pleasure to meet her."
