About the Course
Join us for a fun and relaxed morning’s workshop in candle making held in a cosy village hall in the Hertfordshire countryside.
No previous experience is needed – just come along and enjoy learning a new skill.
All our candles are made with soy wax with a range of fragrance oils and dyes to choose from so you can create your own unique candles to take home.
The workshop will involve making a variety of candle styles – a star shaped cone candle, pillar, votive and container candles and tealights. And to help when you have a go at home, we’ll send you away with one of our step-by-step guides.
We will also discuss the types of wax, wicks, oils and dyes generally available along with the latest label regulations and candle care tips.
Class sizes are small – a maximum of 6 – to allow for individual attention. Ages: 16+.
Weekend classes are available if you’re busy during the week. Please contact us to discuss private workshops for smaller or larger groups.
If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What a super course, Ann was absolutely lovely and we made some super candles varying in shape, size, colours & scent. Tea/coffee & cakes served. The course is run in a beautiful village church hall with excellent parking, easy to find. Had a very enjoyable relaxing few hours & came away with super candles, well worth the money, I shall look to go back to the advanced course in the future. 5 stars!

Really enjoyed the class. Was lucky to share the class with a small group of lovely ladies. Anne was really helpful and answered any questions we had. We were able to make so many candles. More than I expected to be making. Really happy with the class and would attend the advanced class with Anne which she is considering for the future.
