Marian Abdilla reviewed: Stained glass with artist Patricia Lee - as seen on BBC1 Home Is Where The Art Is

"I attended several of Pauline workshops. I found that all of them were delivered in a logical and professional manner. Pauline did give the small group (all her workshops were limited to 6 places) some historical and technical information prior to the commencement of the practical element of the courses. Pauline created a friendly environment and was always on hand to offer help and advice. I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and I came away feeling that I had gained valuable knowledge and the inspiration to commence some projects on my own and I highly recommended any of Pauline courses"

Jane Low reviewed: One day silver jewellery designing and making workshop

"I have just spent a most enjoyable day working with Bridget in her workshop, and with her patient guidance have created a most beautiful pair of earrings. I had a vague idea at the start of what I would like to achieve, but certainly had no idea of the complexity of the craft, which was very soon obvious once I had discussed my ideas in more detail. We eventually decided on a very simple design, which was certainly the way forward, because even that took all day! Bridget took time to explain each stage in the making of the earrings, and I was able to practice certain techniques before doing the "real thing". Her knowledge of the craft is impressive, and she took every opportunity to make sure everything was done just right in order to achieve a very pleasing end result. I have come away enthused with what I had achieved, and a determination to spend another day in her workshop to make other pieces to complement the earrings."

Kay Marryshow reviewed: Mosaic one day workshop for adults with Caroline Jariwala, Birmingham

"So so thrilled to have spent the day at a one day workshop at Mango Mosaics! Whether it’s the first time you’ve done a mosaic, or have done a few trial and error projects like me, you will learn so many tips and tricks from the Uber talented Caroline Jariwala! We all walked away with our own design she so patiently guided each of us on: from concept, to how to nip and cut tiles, to best adhesives for the job, to grouting the finished project to hang on a wall! Delicious lunch and cake were provided, as well as several hours of fun and inspiring conversation! I only wished I lived closer so I could come more often, but I will be back, that’s for sure."

Julie and Elaine reviewed: Two day dry stone walling course for beginners in association with Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain

"Booked on this course with slight trepidation but we need not have worried. Course was amazing and a truly inspiring learning experience. There was a real camaraderie and the course was taught in a way that was accessible to all. The course leaders and volunteers made sure we were guided and supported throughout and never made us feel less than one of the team. Good banter throughout eased the aches and pains - although we still have no clue about the correct strata when placing a stone. Hopefully we will learn as we are planning to join the society. Ultimately, it was a great course with good company in a beautiful setting. Very proud of the wall we built."

"This is the third time I have gone to a silver clay course at The Arienas Collective with Anna Campbell. This time I went with my daughter. We had a lovely day in a relaxed friendly environment with an excellent and patient teacher. We were both very pleased with the rings we made and were surprised at the level we managed to achieve. I would strongly recommend both The Arienas Collective and Anna Campbell."

The Arienas Collective responded:

"Hello Denise. Thank you so much for taking time to leave us a review on Craft Courses. We're delighted that you and your daughter enjoyed your silver clay ring making class. And thank you so much for becoming an Arienas silver clay regular! The rings looked fabulous when they left for the kiln, and even better when they were fired and polished! You should be really pleased with yourselves. :-) Hope to welcome you back again soon. Best wishes, Lynn x"

Had the best fun and came away with loads of goodies I’m delighted to have crafted. If you haven’t been, go. If you’ve been before, go again! PS. I’d go again just for the fantastic lunch. Dawn Wilkinson reviewed: Beginners Upholstery Workshop in Preston, Lancashire - Make a Footstool

"Attended a footstool upholstery course last week at Cuerden Park with Jo. I had a great day and Jo was fantastic at teaching us all step by step on how to create the stool. I learnt so much from her and feel confident that I could produce another on my own especially as we all received a print out of the step by step instructions to take home. I also met some lovely ladies and wouldn't hesitate going on another of Jo's other courses. Fantastic day!!!"

The Boho Shed responded:

"Thanks so much for your kind words Dawn, I really enjoyed the day with you all too. I'm really pleased you had a great day. Please let me know how you get on with your upholstery at home and if I can help at all, please just shout."

Linda Bonner reviewed: Still life painting (inc Dutch style) at Stonehouse Studio

"This was brilliant fun. The arrangement of flowers at the end of the studio seemed like an impossible painting but with Karen's guidance and encouragement from the other painters I was very pleased with what I created. It was amazing to see the different paintings created on the day showing different styles of art. Sharing lunch outside in the peaceful countryside was the icing on the cake. I love this studio and can't wait to go back."

Matt Graham reviewed: Print and play evening workshops in Bristol

"Sophie put on an amazing workshop – she created a really fun, relaxed atmosphere that encouraged people to really get stuck in – and help each other. You really don't need to be 'artsy' to do this – you can create amazing pieces with just a few layers. The instructions are really clear, and you get into the action really quick. You get plenty of quality time with Sophie, and she helps you create some really great prints – we will be framing and hanging ours!"

Sarah Brown reviewed: Glass bottle cutting for beginners in Kent

"Had a really enjoyable Sunday afternoon on this course. Very clear instruction, plenty of equipment and tea and biscuits along the way. We made vases, tumblers, branded glasses and some smaller pots I'll use in my bathroom. They also provide the base to make a storm lamp for the garden. We opted to buy the glass cutting equipment so we can practise at home. If you do this they supply at a discounted rate from what you would get at traditional retail. Recommended to all!!"
