A unique and memorable workshop taught by two highly skilled glass makers.
You will arrive at the studio at 10:30am and run through health and safety regulations plus a small talk, after which you will be assisted in gathering some molten glass on your blowing iron and adding colours of your choice. You will then be guided on how to manipulate the molten glass to start creating a piece of artwork again of your choice but nothing to tricky to start with.
You will be able to collect all of your glassware the following day or it can be wrapped and posted to you at a cost of £15.00 per person.
Lunchtime you can visit the tearooms, browse the farm shop or even have a wonder around the antiques shop.
Closed in comfortable foot wear and cool clothing should be worn.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.

I really enjoyed my morning with Steve and Chris. i made a small vase, bowl, single rose vase and 2 Swans...
I was given the course by my girlfriend and I was very glad to have done this course. I have no doubt I will go back again sometime and do the full day.
Response from Chew Valley HandMade Glass:
We are so pleased you enjoyed your morning with us. We would be happy to welcome you back for a full day.We thoroughly enjoyed our half day glass blowing for 2 with Chew Valley glass. Steve and Chris were very friendly and accommodating, and did a great job in guiding us through the steps of glass blowing. We were given a choice over what item we made and a lot of freedom in the making process, all under the close guidance of Steve and Chris. It was a fantastic experience and we came away with a selection of very impressive items. Highly recommended.
