About the Course

An all day 'build your own panel' workshop using beautiful stained glass and lead work.

Come along and get creative & ‘glassy’.

This is a day specially designed for you to create your own glass panel using my Titchfield studio as workshop space with all tools provided.

You will need to supply your own glass & lead came for individual projects but this can be done through my sources or your own. Just liaise with me if you need any help or advice on this process. You will need to take your project home after each project day and can just book this one day to learn the basics, or book further days you'd like to finish your project.

Please be advised that the studio is up one flight of stairs with no wheelchair access.

The workshop involves soldering so is not suitable for pregnant women.

If booking with a CraftCourses voucher for part or all of the course fee, please fill in the contact form above or telephone us. Your voucher code must be provided at the point of booking.

What's included in the price?

Refreshments provided throughout the day but please bring your own lunch. Ample free parking on-site

A lovely relaxed workshop. I was put at my ease and encouraged with my own design and the possibilities which i could achieved. On the strength of the workshop and Rachael's kind and calm nature i have rebooked to do phase two of my project.

Response from Swanwick Studio:

What a lovely kind review.

Thank you so much for taking the time, it's very much appreciated :-)

Can't wait to see these panels progress

Knowledgeable and enthusiastic tuition throughout the day teaching cutting, grozing, and grinding techniques plus advice on designs, progressing to working with lead, copper foil and soldering. All in a cheerful atmosphere of camaraderie and fun whilst giving particular attention to precision and the importance of careful measurements as well as advising on a realistic timescale for creating a complex panel which you can be proud of.
