Stained glass sun-catcher workshop: Titchfield, Hampshire
Description
A lovely day awaits you making yourself a beautiful glassy sun-catcher. Workshops are aimed at beginners upwards and tuition is worked around individual skill levels with small class numbers (maximum 4) ensuring help is always to hand. Using the stained glass copper foil method favoured by ‘Tiffany’ my aim is for you to have a fun and relaxing crafting day out. Amaze those at home when you wow them with your unique glassy creation. From choosing a template to cutting your glass, copper foiling and soldering, this often proves to be the start of a very addictive hobby. With a large selection of templates and glass to choose from, I hope I can cater for all tastes and colour schemes. At the close of the afternoon I have an array of little extras that I encourage you to use to finish off your creations. Embellishments include a large selection of beautiful glass beads, wire work, driftwood etc. Please be advised that my studio is up one flights of stairs and these workshops involve soldering and so are not suitable for pregnant women. From June 1st 2023 all workshops will be run from our new studio venue at the historic 'Explosion' museum, Priddy's Hard, PO12 4LE - oodles of free parking, wheelchair access for students & on-site bar & restaurant & of course the famous armoires museum.
