Have a creative couple of days learning how to make a beautiful stained glass panel, in a friendly and fun weekend workshop.
During this two-day, weekend course students learn about the techniques involved in making a stained glass panel.
You will be taught how to cut glass, lead and solder, whilst using a variety of coloured glass.
By the end of the course you will have produced a small leaded panel to take home. The workshop is focused but relaxed, limited to 4 students, so students have quality time with the tutor.
Cancellation and a full refund can be obtained up to 2 weeks before the course starts. Start dates may be amended on request.
Materials and tools are all included, along with tea, coffee and biscuits. All you need to bring is a packed lunch and a bag to take your stained glass creation home.

The course was great and Sharon was very patient and helpful. There was lots of choice when it came to patterns and glass. It was a great two days and for my it’s now a serious hobby.
What a fabulous 2 days I spent on this course, it was brilliant! I started out as a complete beginner and at the end I had made a stained glass panel which I love. However, more importantly, I feel I now have the skills and confidence to tackle my own projects in the future. Sharon, our teacher was amazing. The whole course was taught in a lovely, relaxed, friendly manner. Everything was clearly explained and as there was only 4 of us on the course, Sharon was always on hand to assist and advise if necessary. At the end we all had very different panels to take home. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone and would love to do another of Sharon's courses in the future.
Response from Manchester Stained Glass:Thank you Diane, such a lovely review! Almost didn't recognize myself :)
My daughter-in-law and I had spent a wonderful weekend making our panels. The course was very intimate and Sharon was a fabulous teacher and great fun to be with. I look forward to another workshop soon.

Enjoyable and practical weekend course, conscientiously delivered by Sharon Campbell.
Inspired to the next level 9week evening course to learn more about this fun and rewarding craft.
Response from Manchester Stained Glass:Hi Phil, thank you so much for giving such a nice review. Really glad it inspired you to the next level. I look forward to seeing you again and the design you want to make. Sharon :)
I have just been on this course and would recommend it to anyone who has the slightest bit of interest in stained glass. An excellent teacher, run in a friendly and encouraging environment, nothing is to much trouble for Sharon (the teacher). Every step expertly explained and genuinely delivered, help is given if needed but advise on how to do it yourself given first. If you are thinking of doing the class I would recommend it 100%. Thank you Sharon for a wonderful weekend with a lovely stained glass panel I created.
Response from Manchester Stained Glass:Hi Angela, thank you so much for such a glowing review. So pleased you had a good time making the panel and during the weekend workshop. I hope you are enjoying your panel hanging up in your home. Sharon :)
